Cobalt Hospital Rated ‘Good’ Following CQC Inspection


Cobalt Hospital in Newcastle, part of Ramsay Health Care UK, is delighted that the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated the hospital ‘Good’ following its latest inspection.

The report, published on 29th February 2024 rated Cobalt Hospital to be ‘good’ in areas including being safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led.

“I am immensely proud that Cobalt Hospital has been rated ‘Good’ by the CQC in all domains and the result is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of all the staff.  Our team works hard to ensure patients receive high quality care.  It has been rewarding to read the CQC report which acknowledges this, and to share this with our team. I am delighted the inspectors recognised the value we place on delivering high standards of patient care and we will always continue to strive to deliver the very best health care to our local community.”
