NHS Partnerships
In April 2004, Ramsay Health Care UK were appointed to
carry out 9,000 operations in partnership with the NHS. Operations
are being carried out nationally across 12 Strategic Health
Authorities, with patients being treated in existing Ramsay
hospitals.
In May 2004, Ramsay signed the largest public sector care
contract ever awarded to a private healthcare provider in the UK.
Under this contract 95,000 NHS patients will be treated
by Ramsay over 5 years, in ten specialist centres.

Laboratory Medicine and Mobile Imaging
Ramsay diagnostic services provides laboratory medicine,
including clinical chemistry, haematology and transfusion,
microbiology, cytology and histopathology from fully CPA accredited
laboratories.
Services are provided a 24 hour per day, 365 day per year,
Consultant led service within the disciplines of clinical
chemistry, haematology and transfusion and microbiology.

Neurological Services
Ramsay Neurological Services provides 24 hour nursing care and
therapy services for adults with complex neurological
conditions.
Ramsay Gardens and Ramsay Jacob Centre assist recovery wherever
possible and specialise in slow stream rehabilitation. Emphasis is
placed on maximising each individuals abilities, comfort and
