Care UK, said: “I am delighted that Dr Peskett will be joining us

our UK operations. As our NHS services continue to grow, Dr
Peskett’s experience at the Department of Health will be a great
asset to our company.”

Independent Sector Treatment Centre contracts on behalf of the NHS,
which saw the development of nine new NHS treatment centres from
Cornwall to Newcastle. In 2007 Ramsay were also awarded a large

Well acquainted with all medical specialties, Dr Peskett has
particular knowledge of Orthopaedics at clinical, policy and
managerial levels through her role at Keele University, and also
through working on organisational change with NHS Trust
Hospitals.
Dr Peskett has a clinical background in Rheumatology and
Rehabilitation Medicine with a special interest in brain injury and
long term disability and has practised in the NHS in Essex and
London and within the Ramsay group at Springfield Hospital,
maintaining her clinical practice there until 2007.
Jane Cameron continues: “Another key growth area for Ramsay in
the UK is to build on the success of our Neurological
Rehabilitation Centres in Hertfordshire. Our next Neuro Rehab
Centre will open in Gloucester in 2009 and we will continue to
develop in this highly specialised area. Again, Dr Peskett’s
experience is highly relevant and beneficial to the continued
growth of our company.”
