Olympic Success for Winfield Sports injuries Specialist
Dr Rod Jaques ( Sports Physician ) has been selected
as one of the four doctors to accompany the Great Britain team to
the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008.
The team will consist of approximately 300 athletes and 100
support staff and coaches though 30 + different sports . The teams
holding camp ( to acclimatise and time adjust ) is based in Macau ,
but Dr Jaques will be working at the Athlete's village in Beijing
supporting the final preparations and competitions for the GB team
. This will be Dr Jaques's fourth Olympic Games for GB , he
currently runs a sports injury clinic at the Winfield Hospital as
well as being National Medical Director to the English Institute of
Sport.
