Mrs Anne Mitchener is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon, Ashtead Hospital, Surrey
I qualified in medicine from Cambridge (Downing College and New Addenbrooke's Hospital) in 1986 and received my neurosurgical training in London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. I was added to the principal list as Consultant Neurosurgeon in 2002.
My neurosurgical interest is in spine, including new and minimally invasive techniques with and without instrumentation.
I am a member of the Society of British Neurosurgeons and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
My clinical interests include tumours (brain and spine), spinal disorders, cervical, thoracic, lumbar-degenerative, tumour, trauma, decompression surgery, fusion and stabilisation surgery and peripheral nerve entrapment.
