Mr Boizot was appointed Consultant Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Tours in France in 1993 where he pursued a particular interest in hip and knee replacement.  Prior to this he was Senior Practitioner at the Orthopaedic and Trauma Department and part time lecturer at the University Hospital of Tours (France).   He worked for 15 years in private practice in France (Clinique Jeanne d’ Arc) where he developed special interest in primary and revision hip and knee replacement.   
 
Since 2007 Mr Boizot has worked as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Horton Treatment Centre in Banbury where he performs primary and revision hip replacements (cemented and uncemented), knee arthroscopy and replacement (primary and revision), and minor foot surgery.  Minimally invasive surgery procedures are used where appropriate.  Mr Boizot also covers the on-call rota at Horton Hospital.
