Thyroid surgery, Minimally invasive parathyroidectomy, Colorectal surgery including Procedure for Prolapse and Haemorrhoids (Circular Stapled Haemorrhoidectomy), Colonoscopy & Gastroscopy, Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, Hernia Repair, Minor Op’s.

In his endocrine practice, Mr Saharay specialises in thyroid surgery (including cancers), minimally-invasive parathyroid surgery and surgery for tumours of the parotid (salivary) gland.

In his colorectal (bowel surgery) practice, he performs all major bowel operations for both cancers and benign conditions.

Mrinal Saharay has a particular interest in the treatment of haemorrhoids and performs the latest operation for this condition, the “,”procedure for prolapse and haemorrhoids“,” (PPH). In addition, he performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy investigations, along with other general surgical operations such as hernia repair and Laparoscopic (keyhole) gallbladder surgery.

Academic background

Mrinal Saharay trained in the North East Thames region and undertook research at the University College London for which he was awarded a Ph.D degree.
