Robert qualified as a doctor in 1989 and has specialised in plastic surgery since becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1994. After completing his final plastic surgical specialist exams – FRCS (Plast) – and prior to obtaining his NHS Consultant Appointment in 2005 he undertook two years of advanced training in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in London and Paris. He has worked as fellow in Craniofacial and Occuloplastic Surgery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, in Cosmetic Surgery at the West London Clinic and Harley Street and in Microsurgery at Charing Cross Hospital. In addition, he spent a further six months at the Institute Curie, Paris where he received training in all aspects of breast surgery. During this period he has worked with, and been trained by leading British and French Cosmetic Surgeons. |
