Welcome to the Springfield Hospital Pharmacy webpage.
This is an exciting initiative to help our patients and customers
communicate easily with the pharmacy staff.
The aim of this Webpage is to enable patients and customers to
obtain products and information without having to visit the
pharmacy. You will not have to wait or be embarrassed by your
prescription!
Via this webpage we can:
- Offer quotes for any private prescription you may
have
- Supply the medicine by recorded delivery (free delivery
on small orders over £50)
- Supply an increasing number of items direct which do
not require a prescription
- Be contacted via this website
- Respond to queries about availability of
medicines

How to get your prescription medicine

- If the item is not listed contact the pharmacy via our
contact form below or telephone 01245234042 to obtain information
on availability and a quote
If you are happy with the price send your prescription in the
post and either:
- Contact the pharmacy direct with your credit card
details OR
- Send a cheque in the post with the prescription for the
full amount (please write your bank card details on the
reverse)
When posting your prescription please complete our
short health
questionnaire and send it with your prescription. (This will
enable us to ensure the prescription is OK for you. You will only
need to complete this form at the time of any initial supply).
Once we receive the prescription and payment the item will be
sent out the same day by recorded delivery or you can collect them
from the pharmacy.
We can offer a 5% discount for repeat prescription items ordered
this way.
How to obtain a non-prescription item

availability and a quote
If you are happy with the price contact the pharmacy direct
with your credit card details or send your payment in the post with
a cheque for the amount (don’t forget postage and packaging).
Once we receive payment the item will be sent out the same day by
recorded delivery or you can collect them from the pharmacy.
- Minimum Charge is £5.00 per item (excluding postage)
- Postage charge is £2.50 per item
Please note that you order wil be sent by first class
recorded delivery. An adult will need to sign for the delivery at
the delivery address.
Packages containing medicines cannot be handed over to
children, posted through the letterbox or left in a specified
location.
