The Pathology Department’s phlebotomy service is available routinely. Pathology specimens are tested by fully accredited laboratories with fast turnaround times.

Most results can be made available in 24-48 hours.

• Histology and Cytology
• Microbiology
• Haematology (incl. full blood count, ESR, coagulation)
• Biochemistry (incl. thyroid functions U&E, LFT & tumour markers incl. complex PSA)
• Serology (incl. auto antibodies, rheumatoid testing)
• Blood transfution service (incl. group & cross matching)

The Phlebotomy service is available Monday to Friday

09.00 -17.00 hours.
