Clifton Park helping patients beat the snow

Clifton Park has been helping patients beat the snow and icy conditions by offering to admit them the day before their operation so they don't have to worry about travel on the morning of their operation. Julie Wainwright, marketing lead for Clifton Park Hospital said ' this has been a very successful initiative; many people are worried about travelling on icy roads early in the morning and were considered cancelling operations. Telephoning patients and offering to admit them the day before their operation has helped the patient and kept the hospital busy.
