The Wiltshire Hand and Wrist Clinic
Because you only want the best for your hands
The Wiltshire Hand and Wrist Clinic at New Hall Hospital
was established in 2010 by three Specialist Hand and Wrist
Consultants, Kirsten Beyermann, Caroline McGuiness, and Kerstin
Oestreich, with the aim of providing a high quality, private hand
and wrist surgery service for local, national and international
patients.
Miss Beyermann is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon; Miss
McGuiness and Mrs Oestreich are Consultant Plastic Surgeons. Their
special interest is in all types of hand and wrist problems.
What do we do?
The Wiltshire Hand and Wrist Clinic aims to provide treatment
for a wide range of hand and wrist conditions to all patients,
whilst offering easy access, specialist knowledge and the very best
in pre and post-operative care. An affordable and accessible hand
and wrist surgery service, housed within a charming private
hospital, we are able to offer consultations and solutions for your
problems. If surgical treatment of the hand/wrist, and all related
structures, is required, this can be carried out under a Local or
General Anaesthetic, often as a Day Case.
When is surgery necessary?
Many hand and wrist problems do not respond well to conservative
management. Your Consultant will be able to diagnose the cause of
your pain and determine whether surgical intervention may be
helpful. The aim of surgery is to correct the deformity, restore
function of the hand and wrist, and to alleviate pain and
discomfort.
