Boston NHS Treatment Centre
Boston NHS Treatment Centre is a purpose built facility which
provides services for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of common
medical conditions, and has a suite of outpatient rooms, treatment
rooms and counselling facilities. A well-equipped modern theatre
undertakes a range of surgical procedures and endoscopic
(diagnostic) investigations.
Treatments at the Centre
Treatments at the centre include Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, Hernia
Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Cystoscopy, Hand surgery, Foot surgery,
Vasectomy, Varicose vein surgery and Minor skin procedures.
Treatment centre facilities
Clinical facilities include a special reception, outpatient
suite with four consulting rooms and pre operative assessment area.
Our spacious operating theatre allows us to be efficient in
delivery high volumes of surgical procedures by a skilled surgical
team.
Following surgery, patients are transferred to a well equipped
postoperative recovery room with state of the art monitoring
equipment where they remain until discharge.Support services
include a three stage TSSU, which meets the stringent standards,
set by the Department of Health.
Patients have access to a 24-hour helpline following discharge,
ample free parking on site and excellent facilities for those with
restricted mobility, including hearing loop system in reception
area.
Sterile Services Boston Treatment Centre has a fully accredited
sterile services unit, compliant to the latest decontamination
regulations and legislation, available for potential work with GP
Practices, private providers, health centres and organisations
requiring such services.

Our staff
The Treatment Centre works in close partnership with
Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust to deliver day care surgery to the
residents of Boston and surrounding areas. With a resident surgeon
and anaesthetist, nursing staff with many years of clinical
expertise are able to deliver a service that puts patients at the
top of our priorities.
