Private GP Services
Our Private GP Service offers convenient access to GP
consultations at a time to suit you. The advice offered is strictly
confidential and private. We offer a wide range of services
including access to private tests and investigations with follow up
and discussion of results as appropriate. If you need to be seen by
a specialist, an appointment can be made on site to see one of our
fully accredited consultants.
You and your family will be given the personal attention they
deserve, at a time to suit you all.
We also welcome children of all ages to the service.
Access is easy and you will be cared for in a highly
professional way tailored to your needs.
Our aim is to provide a support service to your current NHS GP
service, with private tests available at the hospital for your
convenience.
Your GPs
Our Doctors are experienced local GPs supported by a team of
qualified nursing staff.
Dr Rowan Child MB BS BSc(Hons), DFFP
Dr Child graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical
School, London in July 1997. She has worked in Northamptonshire
ever since, completing her GP training in 2002, and now works as a
full time partner locally.
- Dr Child has further qualifications in Family Planning
- Dr Child has three young children
Dr Caroline Bird MB BS BSc(Hons), DFFP,
MRCGP
Dr Bird graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical
School, London in July 1996. She has worked in both London and
Northamptonshire where she completed her GP training and has been a
part time principal in General Practice locally for the past 5
years.
- Dr Bird is a member of the Royal College of General
Practitioners and has further qualifications in family
planning.
- Dr Bird is the mother of three boys.
Dr Sarah Haughney MbChB MRCGP, DFFP
Dr Haughney graduated from Sheffield Medical School in 1989. She
initially trained in psychiatry before deciding that a career in
General Practice would prove more rewarding. She worked as a
community paediatrician after qualifying as a GP in 1993 and then
became a GP partner in Manchester in 1995. She moved to Kettering
in 2001 and became a full time partner.
- Dr Haughney is a member of the Royal College of General
Practitioners. She also works at the Woodland Hospital as a
specialist in personal injury and has further qualifications in
family planning.
- Dr Haughney has three daughters and a son aged between seven
and fifteen.
