Private Services
A range of services including general surgery, endoscopy,
orthopaedics and cosmetic surgery are available privately as
Self-Pay Services or via Private
Medical Insurance at the Cobalt Treatment Centre.
Self-Pay Services
Under our Premium Care scheme the
following services are available:
- varicose vein surgery
- sclerotherapy
- veinwave/thermocoagulation
- hernia repair
- minor skin procedures
- endoscopy (gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and
colonoscopy)
Private Medical Insurance
The Cobalt Treatment Centre is now recognised by many of the
Private Medcial Insurance companies - so you could have any of the
above procedures here (with the exception of sclerotherapy or
veinwave), via our Premium Care scheme.
Vive Cosmetic Surgery
Cosmetic surgery is available as a self-pay service and our
Consultant Plastic Surgeons are qualified,
experienced and reputable in their fields
of work. All our Consultants are listed on the General
Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register for
Plastic Surgery, BAAPS members and are
currently employed in NHS Consultant posts:

Facilities
The Cobalt Treatment Centre is a modern, purpose built
day case facility located just outside
Newcastle. Registered with the Care
Quality Commission the Centre has a reception
area, suite of consulting and examination rooms, two theatres and
dedicated recovery areas – providing the highest standards in
surgical , nursing, hygiene and aftercare services.
There is free car parking available directly
outside the Treatment Centre and we are conveniently located for
both the A19 and A1.
