Health Check Screening Services

For complete peace of mind we offer a fully comprehensive screening service. An initial assessment is carried out by an experienced nursing professional and this is followed by an extensive consultation and examination with our health screening doctor.

You will be seen by a female doctor. A separate report along with test results is then sent to both you, and your GP if you so wish, within ten working days.

A fully comprehensive health screen, lasting one and a half hours, designed to address all aspects of female or male health includes:

• Medical and family history
• Lifestyle analysis
• Waist circumference and BMI ratio
• Blood pressure
• Urine analysis to assist in the diagnosis of diabetes, kidney and bladder problems
• Fasting blood tests including measurement of cholesterol levels, liver and kidney function, thyroid function, level of calcium, test for anaemia, diabetes
• Stool test to detect potential bowel problems
• Resting electrocardiograph (ECG heart test)
• Vision test
• Hearing tests
• Lung function test – to identify any potential respiratory problems
• Clinical breast examination and instruction on self-examination
• Mammogram and Ovarian cancer test(if clinically indicated)**
• Prostatic specific antigen blood test to indicate prostate problems (if clinically indicated)**
• Chest x-ray (if clinically indicated)**
