Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)

Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) is damage or trauma to the spinal cord that results in a loss or impaired function causing reduced mobility, sensation and sometimes affecting respiratory function. Common causes are trauma (car accidents, falls, sports injuries) or disease (transverse Myelitus, Polio, Spina Bifida)
