Find Gisburne Park NHS Treatment Centre
From Preston (Junction 31 from the M6)
From Preston take the A59 signposted Clitheroe, continue on the
A59 signposted Skipton. You will see an Auction Market on your
left. Go past the Market and Mill Lane and then turn next left.
(Directly opposite the road signed A682 for Burnley/Nelson). The
Hospital is signposted down a private road and is located
approximately ½ mile
down this road.
From Manchester
Leave the M60 at Junction 18 for M66. Continue along the M66
until you come to a roundabout, follow the signs for the A56 for
Burnley. As you go over the brow of the hill and down the other
side you will eventually come to a roundabout, here you need
to join the M65 signposted Burnley/Skipton.
Continue along the M65 until you come to junction 13
signposted Nelson/Kendal. Come off at this junction and follow the
A682 (Kendal). This road will take you through the village of
Barrowford, up the hill, which will bring you into Higherford and
then Blacko. You are then into the open countryside.
After approximately 6 miles you will drop down into the
village of Gisburn and come to a T-junction. At this crossroad,
directly opposite, you will see the Hospital signposted down a
private road. The
Hospital is located approximately ½ mile down this road.
By Bus
There are regular bus services that pass Gisburne Park Hospital
from Clitheroe, Barnoldswick, Burnley and Nelson.
