NHS Patient Information
This section of the website is designed to
give you all the information you will need before your visit
to an NHS Treatment Centre. It is important that you
read all letters that are sent to you carefully as
well as the information on this website, as it will provide you
with specific instructions that will help your treatment or
procedure.
You may be required to refrain from eating and drinking for a
period of time prior to your operation, and these instructions will
be noted in letters that are sent to you. Please also
observe any instructions regarding bowel preparation, blood tests
or other tests before admission.
Should you wish to tour a Treatment Centre before your
admission, to familiarise yourself with the layout and facilities,
we would be happy to welcome you – please contact us and we will arrange a convenient
time for you to have a look around and meet some of the staff.
During your stay in the Treatment Centre you
will be under the care of a Consultant and a named nurse.
As an Independent Provider delivering NHS services, we are
regulated by the Care Standards Act 2000 and receive regular visits
from the Healthcare Commission.
See what they say about us at: www.healthcarecommission.org.uk
We are all committed to meeting your needs and expectations -
please ask any member of staff for assistance during your visit.
Once you have been discharged, you can call our 24 hour
helplines which are answered by qualified nurses to
deal with any problems or questions that you may have.
