Ramsay Health Care has an integrated wellbeing service that caters for all employees wellbeing requirements from pre placement and throughout an employee’s career at Ramsay. The wellbeing programme underpins Ramsay Health Care’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees.
Pre placement Assessment
All employees complete a web based pre-placement assessment tool, enabling the Ramsay wellbeing programme to monitor an employee’s health from the very outset. The Pre Placement programme may identify suitable working arrangements be put in place, ensuring that employees are able to start their career with us in the best possible position.
For certain roles within Ramsay, health surveillance may be required. The wellbeing service use an online programme to help monitor and track employees’ health where required and will co-ordinate and provide access to health services as appropriate. This provides reassurance for employees and confirms Ramsay Health Care’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of its employees.
Health & Wellbeing Initiatives
Throughout the year, the wellbeing service devises health and wellbeing initiatives relevant to employees of the organisation. Examples include resilience awareness and eat well programmes. These programmes highlight health initiatives to support you with your work life balance.
Absence Case Management & Return to Work Support
The Return to Work Service provides support to facilitate an employee’s suitable and sustainable return to work from sickness absence. This is achieved through prompt and appropriate assessment of circumstances and capabilities for work and the facilitation of any required interventions.
Support is provided by a Return to Work Co-ordinator during a period of sickness absence, via early intervention and the implementation of correct rehabilitation and a tailored return to work plan. This process has demonstrated quicker recovery times and more sustainable returns to work for our employees.
Employee Assistance Programme
Ramsay also provide staff with access to an (EAP) Employee Assistance Programme. This free, confidential service provides advice and support in many aspects of life, for example financial advice or mental health support.
