Mr Williams consults on all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery both in adults and children. He is happy to receive referrals for: Dentoalveolar surgery: impacted teeth, tooth exposures, jaw cysts, apicectomies etc, Dental implants and pre implant grafting, Oral medicine: white/red patches, ulcers etc, Facial pain and TMJ disorders, Facial trauma, Facial asymmetry or disproportion, including cheek, chin and nose surgery.

Academic Background

Mr Williams qualified in Dentistry in 1990 and Medicine in 1997. He was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery (RCS Edin) in 1994 and the Fellowship in Surgery (RCS Eng) in 1999. He trained in a number of units in the UK, was a craniofacial fellow in Birmingham Children’s Hospital before completing his paediatric maxillofacial fellowship in The Royal Melbourne Children’s Hospital, Australia. He was appointed as a consultant in 2005 and his specialist areas of interest include adult and paediatric facial deformity.
