  • I've now had 2 knees replaced by Mr Sexton at the Duchy hospital. Both times the staff have been brilliant, every one. They keep you topped up with tea, the food is lovely, informed of everything thats going on. There's a sense that the staff like their jobs and nothing is too much trouble. Follow up appointments have been good for the first, second knee is brand new, and to be honest, there isn't anything negative to say. Really great experience. I should add that both my knees were sorted on the NHS and I was treated brilliantly. Thankyou to all I met on my stay

  • I've just been for a knee arthroscopy procedure under general anaesthetic and can't rate this hospital highly enough. All the staff in the ACU and Theatre, as well as those in reception and physio, were brilliant. I received such kindness and consideration for privacy; kept informed all the time; and there were frequent checks to make sure it was the right patient with the right procedure - so I felt confident that there was a high level of professionalism in the unit. I count myself very fortunate to have been able to access their services.
