Patient Participation Group

Understanding our patients, their requirements and experiences is something that Ramsay Health Care takes very seriously - our patients are at the heart of all we do. This is reflected in our slogan “People caring for People” which has become synonymous with how we operate our business.

To support this, we are establishing a Patient Participation Group (PPG) as we would like to know how we can improve our service to you and how you perceive our hospital and staff. Membership is voluntary and we promise not to take up too much of your time, but would value your involvement. We would like to encourage you to have a say in how we develop our services, the care we provide and how and where this could be improved.

The overall aim of our PPG is to develop a positive and constructive relationship between patients, the hospital and the community it serves. In order to obtain a range of views, suggestions and opinions we are inviting representation from all age ranges, genders, nationalities, abilities and religions.

We feel it is important that these meetings are managed by our patients; however, there will always be members of the hospital’s senior management team in attendance. The intention is to host three meetings a year.

As a valued patient, I hope you can help us by being a part of this important group to:
✔ Provide a forum to share experiences
✔ Ensure that the services that we provide reflect the needs and views of the people who use them
✔ Share good practice
✔ Positively influence change and engagement in developing services
✔ Build a better working relationship with the local community and individuals
