  • I had a full knee replacement on 23rd July..5 weeks on and I am delighted. I can’t rate Consultant Mr Andy Gray and his team highly enough. He has changed my life. The nursing team were magnificent and so kind. I had osteoarthritis in my right knee for a number of years and was really impacted my life. 5 weeks post operation, I can walk unaided for 2 mile without pain, climb and decend stairs and do things I haven’t been able to do for years! And, my scar is so neat and barely visible..The first week post op is the worst but do your exercises and built up your walks and you will be amazed..Thank you Mr Gray and all the nursing and theatre staff.

  • There were roadworks on the ormsby road, had to divert. I had been hoping to avoid main A roads, but had to go on them. Needed better signposting for Tees Valley hospital. fortunately mum remembered the nearby Bluebell inn. Acklam hall was lovely for a cold drink to unwind before the appointment.
