Had a Hernia repair on the 21st of April.Just wanted to say from the pre-op to the time I was permitted to go home the hospital staff were first class.Special mention goes to one of the theatre assistants (Tino) who put me at ease prior to going into theatre.If I ever have to have treatment in the future i would not hesitate in choosing this hospital.Again a big thank you to all the staff. Graham Jones. UPDATE 1/3/24 I went in for another small Hernia repair and again couldn't have asked for better care. Again from entering reception to leaving to go home the care and attention from all staff was exceptional. A special mention to young nurse Heather. I think she is quite new to her role but she is a credit to the hospital. Thanks for your care 👍 Update 14/5/24 Again another visit to this great hospital,this time for a Hip Replacement. Again wonderful care was shown throughout my one night stay. Here are a few special mentions that made my stay such a caring experience..Nurses- Rebekka,Lauren,Laura& Kirsty. Anaesthetics-Andy & Lovemore. Physiotherapy - Jenny & Ioeun. Bloods - Emmanuel & Veronica. Apologies for the other staff I've forgotten,but all are wonderful people who are a credit to their profession. Graham Jones.

Not a patient myself, but the daughter of a very happy patient! The treatment my mother received from start to finish was second to none, i would like to thank every single one of the incredibly hard working wonderful staff that do this company proud! I would though, especially like to thank Sonia Herron-Moore, whose care, support and love could not be described in words. My mom is an incredibly strong woman, and for the first time i saw her worry about her imminent hip operation, however the shining light which is Sonia came and collected her and took her up for her surgery, calming her down as she waved us all goodbye. By the time she’d settled in her room and given us a call she was already 100% calmer, allowing us all to breathe! That evening when I went to see my mom, she was a new woman! Sonia came in and i could immediately tell my mom was in the safest most caring hands. I was absolutely terrified of visiting hours knowing i would have to leave her once again in just a few hours time, but after meeting Sonia i knew mom was in the best hands and in for a great night. She kept us both well informed and entertained throughout and we always looked forward to her drop-ins!! When it was time to take my mom home, she went above and beyond once again. Noticing how nervous i was to be the one collecting mom after the surgery she helped me to walk her down to the car. She helped me get her into my tiny fiesta with absolute ease, whilst also giving me tips for how to safely get her in and out of the car for future reference, which was greatly appreciated. Since being home moms re-told many stories from their interactions showing this daunting surgery has been bypassed by the incredible service provided! I could not praise this incredible woman anymore if i tried! She deserves all the credit in the world - From our ENTIRE family to you - Thank you so very much.

I had surgery here in March 2023 and the whole experience was amazing. Staff were so lovely and caring. The room couldn’t get any cleaner if tried and the food was very tasty.

Nicest, kindest, friendliest and the most polite staff I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much everyone specially a gentleman called Rob (don’t know his surname) his kind words and caring made the procedure much much easier and and massive thanks to Rob again, Dr Camprodon and two other lovely ladies who just by entering my room with a lovely heartwarming smile, my stress level dropped to zero at that moment. And everything else on time and perfect.

I just had my gallbladder removed today at this hospital. I would like to start of firstly by thanking everyone at the hospital who looked after me and made me feel so comfortable. Mr compradon is an amazing person you can tell he clearly loves what he does and cares about helping people. This was my first GA both Mr compradon and the anathesetist made me feel so at ease and helped me with my anxiety. The room itself was like a 5 star hotel room, the food was catered specifically for me/ I was unable to eat dry food so the chef made me a soup, I was given biscuits because that’s all I could stomach. The nurse Sonia really looked after me, nothing was too much for her. She came back numerous times to keep checking on me, she helped get up and mobile and never once pressured me. I would like to say to your team that Sonia truly deserves recognition for all her hard work, if all healthcare workers were a bit more like Sonia we would live in a much better place. Overall, i am very pleased with the care I have received from this hospital and for the life of me I cannot understand why there some low rated reviews. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone who wants to truly be looked after.

Excellent care at this lovely recently refurbished hospital, I was very well looked after from start to finish by the many wonderful friendly various staff who looked after me when I stayed for couple of days. My room/ensuite & tv was comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean. The food was always freshly cooked and beautifully presented and delicious, it was like staying in a 5 star hotel, was sad to leave!! And very special thanks to my fantastic Consultant Mr Basem Muammar who did a brilliant job, very much appreciated. Thank you all again.

I recently had my gallbladder removed at west midlands hospital and it is hands down the best I’ve ever been treated from the surgeons to the catering staff to the nurses everyone was wonderful I’d happily return back there for anymore treatment I needed. My room was spotless, food well presented and nothing was no trouble from student nurse T, sancha and a wonderful nurse that looked after me post op I wish I remembered her name 🥹 Thank you for treating me so well
