Other hip replaced and I cannot fault the care I received at Woodland Hospital. I am an NHS patient and being able to get help from a local private hospital has been life changing for me. From the get go, everything went smoothly. Mr Shukla was my surgeon. All of the staff were brilliant and put my mind at rest. The surgery went well but my BP was not where it should be, so I stayed in beyond the overnight expectations. Pain levels consequently were more than I could manage. I was prescribed a drug I hadn't had before. I had an anaphylactic reaction which was extremely scary. I cannot thank the team enough for literally saving my life! I couldn't speak properly, swallow, breathing was becoming difficult and my lips had begun to swell. Fast forward and hour and I was here to tell the tale! As a result I stayed in the hospital for an extra 3 nights. I highly recommend this hospital! Now for the physio! Onwards and upwards and a pain free life!

It was such a positive experience at the hospital. All the staff were so helpful and positive and it was a pleasure to go to there even though I was in such pain. They try and make the experience a calming one for patients.

Karen the receptionist is always so welcoming and cheerful. The nurses who helped with the completion of the forms and kindly photocopied it for me were both lovely, as was the nurse who took my blood pressure. This hospital is so well managed and the staff always have the time to make you feel special.

I had a very positive experience at The Woodlands private hospital. The staff were welcoming, the care was excellent, and the facilities were comfortable. A small but lovely touch was the complimentary coffee, which made the visits even more pleasant.
