Such a fantastic hospital - I received first class care starting with the self pay team, through to Mr Guest - consultant, the anaesthetist, theatre staff, ward staff and the outpatient nurses who all treated me with such care and kindness. I cannot recommend Pinehill highly enough. Thankyou.

I had really excellent treatment with Mount Stuart. Mr Hindley took time to fully understand my symptoms and lay out all the options, pros and cons and risks. On the day of surgery, the nurses were incredibly kind and helpful, everything felt very organised and efficient, and the surgery went well, with no complications. There was also really good follow-up and aftercare

I recently had surgery with Mr Wilson at The Winfield and cannot praise my experience enough. The staff were absolutely lovely, everyone from the people delivering food, Health Care Assistants, Nurses and Doctor on call; were all professional, polite but also had a sense of humour (like me!). My room was spotless and had a good fan which was very welcome. The food was outstanding for a hospital - just a pity I couldn't eat more and enjoy it. Everyone made me feel seen and heard and my care was second to none. Thank you to everyone for making my 3 night stay a very pleasant one even when feeling rough after major surgery.

The operation was performed quickly and efficiently, which I evaluate positively. Contact with the staff and nurses was satisfactory, and the support of a translator as well as follow-up phone explanations were helpful. However, the rest of the experience was quite disappointing. As a private facility, Beacon Park Hospital should have its own established procedures and standards that genuinely serve the patient. Instead, I was offered only toast, butter in small cubes, instant coffee, and biscuits – absolutely unacceptable for a patient after a surgical procedure. I had to take care of my own meals. There are top-down system procedures in place that, in practice, force the patient to comply. While it is a private facility, I would expect thoughtfully designed protocols that accommodate individual patient needs. The timing of the procedure itself was fast, but the systemic approach and patient experience left much to be desired.

Cant recommend Dr.Anwar Shawi and his team and all the staff on ACU highly enough(nurses, surgical staff, anesthetist)They make you feel so welcome and at ease about your procedure and nothing is too much trouble. came in today (29/08/25) for operation on my hand and from the time I arrived to leaving I was treated with respect, dignity and care. In general very good. Consultant, Anaesthetist and theatre staff were all amazing. Catering staff all very pleasant and helpful. Couple of issues on the ward. Firstly the drug round in the morning was done in 3 visits. The nurse seemed muddled with what he was giving me. He asked where my colecalciferol was. I have never been on it. Also tried to give me a medication which he couldn't read on the drug chart. When he showed me, it was Utrogeston. I've not taken this for 9 months. He seemed to have old/someone else's notes. Then another nurse asked me to organise my lift home for 9 am, 15 hours post hysterectomy. I had only just had my catheter removed and hadn't yet been out of bed. She came back later to apologise as she had the wrong patient. In all everyone was very pleasant and helpful.
