  • Exceptional service caring for my dad today. From a friendly greeting at reception to coming out. Nothing too much trouble . All nurses and doctor top notch. Could not fault them. My dad is 87 and was slightly nervous, but everyone put him at ease. Thank you all.

  • Other hip replaced and I cannot fault the care I received at Woodland Hospital. I am an NHS patient and being able to get help from a local private hospital has been life changing for me. From the get go, everything went smoothly. Mr Shukla was my surgeon. All of the staff were brilliant and put my mind at rest. The surgery went well but my BP was not where it should be, so I stayed in beyond the overnight expectations. Pain levels consequently were more than I could manage. I was prescribed a drug I hadn't had before. I had an anaphylactic reaction which was extremely scary. I cannot thank the team enough for literally saving my life! I couldn't speak properly, swallow, breathing was becoming difficult and my lips had begun to swell. Fast forward and hour and I was here to tell the tale! As a result I stayed in the hospital for an extra 3 nights. I highly recommend this hospital! Now for the physio! Onwards and upwards and a pain free life!

  • From the secretary, receptionists, nurse and consultant EVERY ONE I have interacted with have been helpful and supportive. I can't thank Marie enough for always being available; especially when I was spiralling, Miss Taylor is always informative, supportive and caring, the nurses are AMAZING (thank you for helping my mum during my procedure; no one likes to see their child in pain but they helped her and comforted us both), the receptionists are always bubbly and up for a quick chat as well as being efficient with letting you know where to go.

  • I had a full knee replacement on 23rd July..5 weeks on and I am delighted. I can’t rate Consultant Mr Andy Gray and his team highly enough. He has changed my life. The nursing team were magnificent and so kind. I had osteoarthritis in my right knee for a number of years and was really impacted my life. 5 weeks post operation, I can walk unaided for 2 mile without pain, climb and decend stairs and do things I haven’t been able to do for years! And, my scar is so neat and barely visible..The first week post op is the worst but do your exercises and built up your walks and you will be amazed..Thank you Mr Gray and all the nursing and theatre staff.

  • I had the best experience here today. Everything was timely, welcoming, professional, reassuring. The staff were so lovely. Each member of staff that was dealing with you came and introduced themselves. They were friendly, chatty and made you feel welcome and special. Everything you need is on hand and you can ask them anything. I was comfortable and so content.

  • I had really excellent treatment with Mount Stuart. Mr Hindley took time to fully understand my symptoms and lay out all the options, pros and cons and risks. On the day of surgery, the nurses were incredibly kind and helpful, everything felt very organised and efficient, and the surgery went well, with no complications. There was also really good follow-up and aftercare

  • Recently had an operation and the whole experience was fantastic. I had two operations here now (Both private) and had the best possible experience you would expect from a hospital, good food choice, very friendly staff and clean. Someone mentioned in a review saying the corridor light was on all night was bright, Just ask the nurse to close your door...

  • Such a fantastic hospital - I received first class care starting with the self pay team, through to Mr Guest - consultant, the anaesthetist, theatre staff, ward staff and the outpatient nurses who all treated me with such care and kindness. I cannot recommend Pinehill highly enough. Thankyou.

  • I recently had surgery with Mr Wilson at The Winfield and cannot praise my experience enough. The staff were absolutely lovely, everyone from the people delivering food, Health Care Assistants, Nurses and Doctor on call; were all professional, polite but also had a sense of humour (like me!). My room was spotless and had a good fan which was very welcome. The food was outstanding for a hospital - just a pity I couldn't eat more and enjoy it. Everyone made me feel seen and heard and my care was second to none. Thank you to everyone for making my 3 night stay a very pleasant one even when feeling rough after major surgery.
