I recently visited Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford for an MRI scan, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the moment I walked through the doors, the experience was absolutely seamless. The hospital itself is spotlessly clean, modern, and has a very welcoming and calming atmosphere. The reception staff were incredibly polite and made the check-in process quick and hassle-free.

All the staff at New Hall Hospital from the receptionist through to the Consultant were very pleasant and helpful. There is plenty of free parking close to the reception and would definitely recommend this Hospital.

Where do i start. What a fabulous experience during my stay for my TKR 4 weeks ago. Absolutely wonderful, kind and caring staff who went out of their way to make sure i had everything i needed. Anesthetist was amazing and made me feel so at ease. Surgeon did an amazing job and my wound looks so much better than I ever thought it would. Physios were so patient and understanding. And the food was absolutely gorgeous. I even got a phone call the day after i was discharged to see how i was.Thank you Rowley for everything.

Kind and caring people. First surgery I’ve had and I was definitely very scared. I was treated with dignity, kindness and patience throughout the entire process. The receptionist was excellent when I phoned, as I’d worked myself up about the procedure. The consultant Qutayba Almerie was brilliant, took the time to meet with me again to talk me though everything and calm me down before. Everyone on the day was brilliant also. I would like to say thank you specifically to the lady who collected me from my room for surgery, I believe her name was Ellen, she was so kind and understanding. She comforted me all the way down and until I was put under the anaesthetic, honestly think I would have done a runner If it wasn’t for her. Surgery Is definitely not something I wanted, nor do I ever want it again, but you all made the experience as good as it could have been and if I ever do need it again, I hope it’s at this hospital. I’d just like to say how much of a positive experience so far I’ve had with this hospital for all my outpatient appointments. Staff are great and friendly; well organised and go above and beyond. Out of all the private hospitals I’ve been to, this has been the most efficient and professional.

Five-Star Care for My Sacroiliac Joint Fusion I recently underwent right-sided sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion surgery at New Hall Hospital, and I cannot praise the hospital, my surgeon, and the entire team highly enough. From my initial consultation to my discharge, the standard of care was absolutely exceptional. Surgeon Spotlight: Mr. Davies Mr. Davies is a phenomenal surgeon. From day one, he took the time to thoroughly explain the SI joint fusion procedure, managing my expectations and answering all of my questions with incredible patience and clarity. His expertise and reassuring manner gave me complete confidence going into the operation. The surgery was a total success, and I am already feeling the positive difference. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been under his care. The Nursing Team & Staff The nursing staff at New Hall Hospital are absolute angels. Post-surgery, they were attentive, deeply compassionate, and on top of my pain management before I even had to ask. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Every single member of the team contributed to my comfortable stay: The Physiotherapists were brilliant, getting me safely on my feet and ensuring I knew exactly how to move to protect my healing joint. The Administration & Admissions Team made the whole check-in and scheduling process completely seamless and stress-free. The Catering & Domestic Staff were lovely, keeping my room spotless and delivering delicious meals with a warm smile. Facilities & Overall Experience The hospital itself feels more like a quiet, clean, and comfortable hotel than a clinical environment, which does wonders for reducing pre-surgery anxiety. Having a private, peaceful space to recover made a massive difference in my early healing stages. Final Thoughts: Major joint surgery can be incredibly daunting, but Mr. Davies and the outstanding team at New Hall Hospital turned it into a smooth, positive, and deeply reassuring experience. If you are considering orthopedic surgery here, you are in the safest possible hands. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The level of care, support, and professionalism throughout my journey was outstanding. I had a gastric sleeve procedure, and the entire team made me feel comfortable, informed, and well looked after every step of the way. I would like to thank all the staff at Springfield Hospital for the excellent care I received. My sincere thanks go especially to Adam, my surgeon, who was respectful, informative, approachable, and made me feel calm and relaxed throughout my treatment. Although all the staff are extremely busy caring for many patients, there was one HCA who made me feel truly special. She was informative, attentive, seemed to know what I needed before I did, and took the time to check on me regularly. Suzanne, you are a credit to Springfield Hospital.
