I had bunion surgery a few weeks ago at Blakelands hospital. I was so anxious about the operation, but Dr Bramell had taken the time to explain every part of the procedure at my pre op and was so thorough that I felt so much better about my upcoming operation On the day, I turned up and was greeted by the amazing receptionist, who made me feel so at ease. She was so kind and friendly. All of the nurses were just brilliant. And made me feel so welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. The operation itself has to be cancelled due to one of the parts for my operation not quite being ready yet. For someone who suffers from anxiety, this could have been really difficult for me to cope with if it hadn't been for such an outstanding, kind, caring team at Blakelands. The surgeon was just amazing. Taking his time to come and explain everything to me, and the day manager, Ian was so lovely and reassuring. They spent a lot of time and effort coming up with a solution to reschedule my operation for the next day. This meant the surgeon, his team, and many others giving up their day off in order to complete my surgery the next day so that I would not have to wait too long. Even having to source an anesthetist.This meant the absolute world to me that all of these people would selflessly take their own time to help me and complete my operation. The procedure went so well and everyone involved in my operation, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I honestly cannot praise the staff at Blakelands enough, they are a credit to the hospital and I would recommend Blakelands to anyone needing a procedure. Youare guaranteed to be in safe hands. I would like to give special thanks to Dr Bramell and his team, Ian, Maddie, Kirsty, Florence, Joan, Alex and Linda for all of their kindness and help, and Sarah Treliving for the amazing aftercare. Also to the man who took my x-rays. I forgot to get his name, but he is a bit magical, and just so kind.

In for a minor procedure and the experience was pleasant and professional from start to finish. All the staff, nurses and clinicians were helpful, informative and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Fantastic level of care received during an inpatient visit to this hospital from all staff. In particular the consultant performing my total hip replacement Mr K Mannan demonstrated exceptional levels of professionalism and care throughout. I cannot thank himself and the wider team enough for their efforts. Amazing job 🙌

Recently I had an operation in the Cherwell hospital Banbury where I received excellent treatment from diagnosis to treatment. All staff were professional and kept me informed on all aspects of my condition from diagnosis to treatment. Consultation was well explained and all departments sent paperwork to inform me of all I needed to know. My consultant was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and treated me with great care. My first operation in my life and I was not looking forwards to it but everything went very well with my recovery starting very next day.

I am very satisfied with the care from my physiotherapist Ms Dimple Sachdev.I had several appointments with her regarding my foot where she helped me a lot through shock waves and excercises. She has a very professional approach towards her work and pays close attention to her patient.Ms Sachdev is a loyal and respectful person which is very important to me.Thank you for your support.

I have just come home from having spinal surgery at New Hall and could not be better pleased. All staff, from the surgeon to the auxiliary staff, were unfailingly efficient, professional, approachable and kind. The surgeon, Paul Rhys Davies, explained the procedure clearly and without being patronising: I was included in the decision-making and was confident about the outcome. His easy manner and sense of humour did much to set me at my ease. From orderlies to nurses and anaesthetists, everyone seemed to take pleasure in working at New Hall and in caring for patients. My operation appears to have been very successful, and I look forward to meeting the staff again for follow-up appointments.

Very nervous patient, was put at ease, staff were excellent, reassuring, calm and friendly.Consultant explained everything clearly. There was even a calm atmosphere in the waiting room. Cannot fault.

The nursing and physio care at Euxton Hall was wonderful. I never felt that I was left alone for long and they responded to the buzzer very quickly if I needed them for anything. The room and food was also very nice. I had a private bathroom, TV, and I was provided with nutritious vegan meals.
