  • My experience throughout the surgery process at Fitzwilliam Hospital was excellent. The doctor was outstanding—he took the time to talk with me in a way that felt genuine and personal. He was caring, respectful, and kind, which helped reduce my anxiety before the procedure. The nurses and the student nurse were also brilliant. They were approachable, always available for questions, and consistently reassuring. Their compassion, sensitivity and professionalism made me feel safe and supported at every stage. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, helping create a positive atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The entire surgical team was fantastic. They supported me throughout, helped to calm me before the procedure and showed great respect, kindness and professionalism. Honestly, it was a fantastic team from start to finish. A team that worked together and appreciated each other, which is so important.

  • Had a partial knee replacement, over the two days throughout my stay all staff were friendly & nothing was too much trouble. Quality of the food provided was very good and the room was clean & comfortable. Was kept well informed about the whole procedure even if it was painful once done ! 👍
