I had been struggling for 18 months with a prolapsed Disc in my neck I was initially diagnosed with c5/c6. This was causing me constant Nerve, Neck and Back pain. I had tried multiple physios and treatments but with no success. After finally receiving an MRI and receiving the results I was told it was a large Disc bulge in my c6/c7. I was then referred to Renacres and had an appointment very quickly. My appointment was with Mr Neil Buxton who was great in helping me understand the problem and the best way to go forward. He advised me surgery was best for me. He made me feel very at ease and no worries or hesitations about him undertaking my surgery. from that point on I had a pre pop where the nurse was great , followed by a blood appointment a couple of days prior to the operation , where I was in and out. all nurses answered any questions , concerns I had and where reassuring. On the day of surgery I was told the plan and who I would be speaking to. First I spoke to the nurse who brought me in, Then my observations were done by the HCA (mr daw ) I think and Fatima who were both great. Then I spoke to the physiotherapist, sorry forgot her name who was very helpful with giving me a recovery plan and answering any questions in regards to timeframes. I was then visited by jimmy the anaesthetist Jimmy who gave me a detail run down of his procedure in detail which helped relax me and while I was being put under general anaesthetic I was being talked through the process at all times. Then Mr Buxton performed the operation I cant give feed back on this as I was asleep , But he then came in and told me the operation went great and that I was able to go home the same evening. I cant recommend the Team at Renacres enough at every stage of my procedure they were all great.

The staff at the hospital are all amazing, they are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hospital is really clean and ready for your stay. Everything was explained so as I knew exactly what was happening. I would definitely use the hospital again if I needed another operation. The after care is also brilliant and staff keep in touch with your progress. Great experience.

I have many years experience of working in healthcare. A large proportion of which I worked for the NHS. As soon as my own care and treatment was transferred to Woodthorpe Hospital I realised I was experiencing a truly professional, caring facility. Communication was and still is great throughout and as an inpatient I was treated absolutely brilliantly. My after care appears to be just as good. I am so happy. Long may it continue. Thank you to Woodthorpe and all your staff.

Visited April 26 for a day procedure all staff and medical team were outstanding. Care and attentiveness outstanding and the hospital rooms so clean and welcoming. Would highly recommend 👌

Spent 6 days here after spinal surgery under Mr amit, and came home last night . Staff on the ward very caring and helpful. Drs and nurses were great . Now gone home time to recover and rehab

My daughter had an appointment with Mr Sattin one of the gynaecologists yesterday after years of being dismissed by the GP. After one appointment with Mr Sattin he answered all of her queries and has written to her GP for her to be referred for a laproscopy on the NHS. He was very kind, took lots of notes and seemed genuinely interesting in helping. Thank you Mr Sattin.

Having waited 45 weeks for an NHS appointment my dentist referred me to the West Bourne Centre and into the hands of Mr Anthony Summerwill. I had a difficult tooth extracted by this marvellous man, never felt a thing. I followed all his instructions and suffered no after effects, very little pain.I then followed up by having my existing denture altered to accommodate the missing tooth, it fits a treat. Like I said what a Marvellous man.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly pleasant, my pain was handled without me needing to ask and the procedure was efficient and quick, with good results. Lovely clean linens, gowns and hospital environment in general. Overall, I would come back here (if needed) anytime.

I was admitted as a day patient but required an unplanned overnight stay. I truly cannot thank the team enough for the care I received. Every single member of staff—from doctors and nurses to the wider team—was kind, compassionate, and attentive. I felt genuinely cared for every step of the way, and left feeling valued, listened to, and completely at ease.
