Patient Review – Hysterectomy due to endometriosis at Oaks Hospital I approached Oaks Hospital as the wait on the NHS had become unbearable. From my very first call to enquire, I felt listened to, understood, and guided towards Mr Wassim Hassan. From our initial consultation through to reviewing my NHS results and discussing the treatment options available, I felt completely at ease. Mr Hassan explained my case clearly and helped me understand each step of the proposed hysterectomy plan. Within just two months, I underwent my surgery; which I’ve since learnt was quite a complicated! Throughout the entire process I felt exceptionally well cared for. A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Oaks for their patience, kindness, and guidance during my stay. I cannot thank Mr Hassan enough, his expertise, professionalism, reassurance, and care made what could have been a daunting experience a truly positive one. It has been an absolute pleasure being under the care of Mr Hassan and the Oaks team.

I cannot thank enough, everyone involved in my stay and treatment. Everyone was kind and caring. All staff were kind and helpful. My treatment was discussed at length and was given time to decide in all aspects of the treatment. After care was great and I didn't feel rushed. I can highly recommend New hall for treatment.

Cannot thank the staff enough I was referred to the Yorkshire Clinic with a shoulder problem. I had surgery in July 2025. Massive thanks to the surgeon Mr Bowe who performed the operation & the physio department especially Sally Bertrand who looked after me pre & post surgery.

I had a shoulder operation at the Oaklands hospital in Salford in April this year. From my initial consultation with Mr Roy I felt at ease under his care. He explained everything thoroughly to me and I felt confident about his skills and the operation. I was really well looked after before during and after my op by Mr Roy and his team. My physio with Owen was fantastic, and he helped get my shoulder working great again and no pain anymore. My follow ups with Paul also great and again everything was explained thoroughly, and my movement checked every appointment. A big thankyou to Mr Roy and his team, and Owen and Paul for giving me a fully working shoulder with no pain. 11 out of 10 - Kim Hibbert.

I had septoplasty surgery with Mr. Agarwal at Oaklands Hospital and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Mr. Agarwal was calm, clear, and reassuring throughout he explained everything thoroughly and made me feel completely at ease. The procedure went smoothly, and my breathing has improved dramatically. Recovery was quicker than expected, and I felt well looked after at every stage. Highly recommend Mr. Agarwal for anyone considering ENT surgery.

I am currently due to have a spinal procedure at The Fitzwilliam Private Hospital in Peterborough towards the end of this month. The pre admission appointment was made at that same location. This journey is quite a jaunt & at this time would have exacerbated the chronic back pain I’m in. I appreciate ( on my part) that I didn’t have the initial foresight to change this appointment to the Boston West Hospital ( within the Ramsay Healthcare Group)… I made the phonecall to them and was put through to Helen, the Pre Assessment Nurse there. She was able to fit me in, as her workload permitted it, & communicated the change to her Collegue/s at The Fitzwilliam Hospital. I can’t thank Helen enough, who could see I was stressed & upset… her manner was of the utmost professionalism with a calming friendly manner. Thank you Helen, (& Liz) wholeheartedly from a very grateful patient/service user.

I had a cataract op on 6th November. My consultant Mr Toma was lovely. He talked me through the whole procedure as it happened and put me at ease. Heather the nurse I saw first was so lovely as were all the other nurses involved from walking me to the operating room, wheeling me back, bringing me tea and biscuits and finally talking me through aftercare procedures. The whole experience was made easier because of all the people who work there and their ability to make a scary experience something to remember as good.
