Mr Jose Blanco is an Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, with a substantive consultant post, in the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, as a trauma, orthopaedic and adult hip and knee surgeon. He also has a subspecialty interest in adult neuro-muscular surgery. He has management responsibilities in audit and quality improvement and he is a clinical and educational supervisor for Nurse Specialists and Orthopaedic Registrars. Mr Blanco completed his training at St Georges Hospital Medical School in London. He graduated and has been in medical practice since 2005. Subsequently, he completed senior and specialist orthopaedic training programmes in the East Midlands rotation, including Northampton, Kettering and Leicester and as far as Lincoln and Boston. He has a master's degree in orthopaedic engineering from the University of Edinburgh. He is published in peer reviewed, international journals and has presented nationally and internationally.
