  • Very good experience at New Hall with only a couple of minor issues Under the care of Mr David Chapple I received first class treatment ( he is a man who tells it as it is but is also empathetic and has your best interests in mind) There are others who deserve praise, Carole Mr C's secretary, the senior staff nurse from the Philippines ( sorry I've forgotten your name, Mary and the very kind Maryanne( night time nurse) the coffee lads and catering staff and Sue who helped my wife in getting me into the car. The hospital is clean and modern and the meals adequate and very tasty A very satisfied patient thanks

  • New Hall Hospital staff are friendly, kind, informed, efficient and supportive. I felt well cared for before, during and after my operation. When attending appointments they have either been on time or I have been seen early - they certainly managed the stress I was feeling before the operation in a very kind but informed way.

  • All ok apart from incident where possible heart condition indentified at pre-op assessment in August 2023 was not followed up or shown to anethetist until the day of the operation on 1st Sept 2023 (I think). Surgery was then postponed until 3rd January 2024 to allow for echo cardiogram.

  • New Hall was very good. Very minor problems were Painkiller distribution was a little slow and needed prompting and TV remote did not work.

  • During shift change it sometimes took a long time for someone to appear even when the red bell was pressed - food and menu were also very disappointing for a private hospital

  • Generally good with just a couple of small glitches.On arrival ,the receptionist was unaware that the operation had been paid for in full over a month beforehand. During the operation itself a nurse had to leave in order to obtain a couple of items that were not “ in stock “ in the room itself - and had to compromise with one item where the optimum size was not to be found anywhere.
