Prior to joining Ramsay I was part of a small environmental consultancy which advised healthcare facilities on effective waste management practice. Whilst this was very enjoyable, I joined Ramsay as I saw an opportunity to get involved with a corporation, on the ground floor, where I might be able to advance my business career.
I joined Ramsay as PA to the Senior Management Team at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford and was lucky to find a few individuals who were willing to mentor me. After 2 years, I was promoted to Support Services Manager, responsible for a range of non-clinical services within the hospital and 18 months later, I was successful in my application to join the Ramsay Academy Leadership Programme.
As part of the Ramsay Leadership Programme I was supported through my MBA at Henley Business School and graduated in September 2016. I am now in my second General Manager role and am looking forward to my continuing career with Ramsay Health Care UK.
