  • ​I recently had a full right hip replacement (Jan 2026) at Woodthorpe Hospital, and I cannot praise the staff enough. The level of care I received was absolutely phenomenal, allowing me to be safely discharged after just one night on Ward 1! ​A massive thank you to my surgeon, Mr. S. BADHE, for a fantastic job, as well as Dr. Mohammed and my anaesthetist, Mr. Khandelwal, for putting me completely at ease during the operation. ​The nursing and support staff on Ward 1 were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. Special mentions and huge thanks to Sam (NCA), Kayleigh, Gia, Ray, Ben, Sade, Tatenda, Sammy, and Lashae—you all made my recovery so comfortable and reassuring. ​Finally, a hospital stay is always made better by great food! Compliments to Glenda the Chef for the delicious meals, and thank you to Bev the waitress for her cheerful and wonderful service. ​If you are nervous about an upcoming procedure here, don't be. You are in the absolute best hands. Highly recommend!

  • I was admited for a gallbladder removal with mr Kahn it was a Very posative experience nothing to much trouble Dr's discussed with me my surgery pros and cons Felt very safe and well informed in there hands nurses were constantly checking on me .through my overnight stay . I would not hesitate in recommending any kind of procedure here.

  • I had a very positive visit to the Westbourne Centre. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and the dental nurse was kind and clearly explained the X-ray process, which put me at ease. Mr Alan Attard was especially excellent—attentive, kind, and thorough in answering my questions. I never felt rushed, and he showed genuine care throughout. Overall, a great experience and I felt very well looked after.

  • I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely looked after, listened to, and respected. Dr Malkei was truly exceptional — not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also one of the most caring and attentive individuals I’ve ever encountered in a medical setting. He took the time to really listen, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely at ease throughout. It’s rare to come across someone who combines such expertise with such genuine compassion, and it made all the difference to my experience. The nurse Katie was equally wonderful — warm, kind, and reassuring from start to finish. She went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and supported, and her friendly, calm manner immediately put me at ease. Together, they made what could have been a stressful experience feel completely manageable and even positive. I left feeling not only well cared for, but truly grateful. Without a doubt, the best medical care I’ve ever received. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart

  • Had a minor operation at Woodthorpe hospital last week and I cannot fault their service and attention to detail. The hospital is spotlessly clean and all the staff were exceptional. My operation went well and my consultant and all the theatre staff were absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much.
