A wonderful experience, as ALL aspects of my treatment were first class. Recovering well at home now thanks to the foundation of exceptional surgical and medical care, and unstinting Post Op supervision from all staff including the Kitchen Staff who literally mothered you ! My staples were removed yesterday (12 days after the operation - at the local medical practice) to reveal a healthy barely noticeable scar. Diolch (thank you)

Hello, I had Zadek's osteotomy and an Excision of Haglund's deformity on the 14th of May under Mr Goyal. My experience of the hospital has been five star, as above! Everyone was kind, caring and professional and the recovery from surgery seems to be going well so far. Special thanks to the ward staff, Kayleigh, Gia, Kelly and Raycent. Glenda (Housekeeping) Tracey (Ward Reception). Theatre staff Sam (Odp) and Happiness (Recovery Nurse). Catherine (physio). Also, Mr Goyal and his anaesthetist ( sorry can't remember his name!) were lovely. Thank you so much for your care.

I was in for a hip replacement on the 11th of May. I couldn’t ask for a better hospital, better staff, surgeon or anaesthetist. They all made me feel so comfortable prior to my surgery and the nurses took great care of me after my surgery. I had an issue with the nurse at the local GP and decided to go double check with the Hosptial and again they were so happy to assist. Can’t thank them all enough, genuinely.

Had total hip replacement on 13th April 2026. I'm 63 yrs old and first ever operation and I was pretty anxious about it. Had epidural and opted for music and headphones rather than any other anesthetic. Staff were very reassuring and put me at ease,the anaesthetist explained if I became distressed he could give me something to calm me. No need for this as I had no problems and had worry for nothing. Mr Arts was great and after care was second to none. Went home mid afternoon the next day .

The kindness, politeness, and helpfulness of each and every one of the lovely people who work and care at this hospital is astounding. They are always smiling and ready to help. Yesterday I had umbilical hernia surgery here at Ashtead Hospital, and the care was spectacular not only from the very beginning of the day but also from the three months prior, from the very start, with all the follow-up, tests, and everything related to my surgery. The food they served in my room, which I chose from the menu that morning, was also very good. It's a place that exudes professionalism and cleanliness in every corner. I couldn't be happier to have fallen into such good hands and into such an excellent place for my surgery, which is less traumatic for someone like me who doesn't frequent hospitals and has never had surgery like this before. Wow what can I say absolutely brilliant friendly staff in the day case ward especially Maria and Savi ? made me feel very comfortable, had a good chat with the nurses about my health issues and was reassured. The guy put my cannula in without any pain and I was put under sedation by my specialist. Private standard treatment on the NHS well done to all you guys top top treatment 👍👏

I received excellent care from all of the staff at Ahstead Hospital from the consultants, doctors and nurses. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay as a day patient. Everyone was really friendly and information was explained carefully to make me feel reassured about the procedure. The meal provided after my operation was very good too. Thank you.
