I had minor surgery at Fulwood Hall very recently. The lasting impression would be the care I received from Steph, Lisa and in particular Hannah who looked after me on the ward. All three were lovely, very friendly and approachable which made me feel at ease throughout my stay.

I had major spinal surgery and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The whole team was extremely professional and the care I received was excellent. My surgeon, Mr Royden Austin, was absolutely brilliant a great guy and an amazing surgeon Thank you so much for the excellent care and fantastic work Piotr. 👊

My first time at Fullwood and the experience was really good. The only negative was slightly out of their hands when a bad crash on the M6 meant I was stuck in traffic. I called 20 times or more but could not get through to anyone, to ask if me being 30mins late would be an issue - I’d been in the car for nearly 2.5hrs when I arrived to be told the radiologist had already left. Apart from that, overall a very good experience, thank you.

I travel some distance to visit the hospital (circa 90 miles round trip) as I wanted to stay under the care of my consultant as an NHS patient. It's worth the travelling, not just to stay with my consultant (have been under his care since 2019), but because it's a great hospital service. All the staff are courteous and helpful. I've received treatment on a few occasions over the years and each time it has been a good experience from booking in at reception, all the way through to attendance in a theatre environment where a team of staff assist in administering the procedures. I've had an MRI scan this week and that went very well, the MRI Technicians were brilliant and answered the questions I put to them. On all previous procedures I've received, the team of staff that looked after me from booking-in and doing pre-procedure checks, to the theatre team and consultant have been brilliant. They are there to help with any questions and keeping any fears or worries to a minimum. Once the procedure is completed, the nurses looking after me and organising the discharge details are brilliant too. A slight downside is the shortage of parking spaces at peak times - but sometimes it's just a case of being patient while a space becomes available. I would recommend this hospital as it offers a great environment with a great team of staff !
