My 89-year-old father has been suffering from severe pain, and I initially spoke with Angela Wilson over the phone regarding his appointment. When we arrived at the hospital, she personally came down to see us and couldn’t have been more helpful. She has supported us through several appointments during my father’s journey, and I truly cannot speak highly enough of her efficiency, kindness, and dedication. Mr. Headrapson has also been absolutely amazing with my father. The level of care, professionalism, and compassion we have received has been exceptional. I genuinely couldn’t fault the service we have had. Thank you to everyone involved.

Went to the Rivers Hospital for a pre-op assessment. I didn't wait long and had 2 wonderful nurses who put me at ease. One went through what was going to happen before the operation and things I needed to do to prepare and then the other lovely nurse did a few tests. They were both so friendly and efficient and really did their job to such a high standard. I even had an Xray and again the staff were so kind and did a great job. The hospital is very clean and everyone is very helpful and friendly.

I arrived at the Tees Valley Hospital 2 weeks ago for my hip replacement. I have to say that the whole experience was first class. I was recommended Mr Webb by a friend of mine and he was superb. He was, as everyone knows, highly skilled and with a lovely manner too. I felt totally at ease on the ward before my operation and was cared for so diligently after it. The lady from Zimbabwe (sorry I can't remember her name) after my operation made me feel so at ease, and after that the nursing staff on the ward were superb. Laura and Vicky overnight were so professional and caring....they helped me through a difficult first night with confidence and a smile! Jeffrey the doctor who saw me a couple of times was so lovely and helped me a lot.Other nursing staff Jess and Demi, Erica and Jo were also very, very good and ultra professional too. Marta the physio helped to get me back on my feet with her obvious skills. I have to say the food was great, and served with a smile. What I also liked was the attention to detail of the hospital with the receptionists and cleaning staff very professional and always there with a smile. I am so grateful to everyone at the hospital for their care and would highly recommend the hospital to everyone.

From consultation through to post operative care I could not fault the hospital or the colleagues there. Everyone I spoke to was kind, caring and informative, ensuring I knew what was going to happen and when, during every visit. My surgeon, Tomas Kustas was such a wonderful man and showed genuine care for his patients.

What a fabulous caring team, from the moment I entered TVH, til i was discharged. The Receptionists, Nursing staff, Catering team, and to Mr Brock my Consultant, amazing. I underwent a BPH aquablation procedure in March 2026 at Duchy Hospital, Truro followed by an overnight stay, and the care I received was exceptional. From consultants and doctors to nurses, housekeeping, catering and reception, every member of staff was consistently friendly, professional and compassionate. I was treated with dignity and respect throughout, and staff communicated clearly, explained everything thoroughly, and always did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would. The facilities were spotless and maintained to an impressively high standard, which made my stay all the more comfortable. A big thank you to everyone involved. Their kindness and professionalism genuinely made a difference to my experience. I cannot recommend Duchy Hospital and its staff highly enough.
