I have been at this hospital for two knee replacements and then some additional surgery for ITB release, under the care of Mr Anthony Helm. I could not speak highly enough about the kind supportive staff. They were absolutely fantastic each time. From the theatre staff, surgeon, cleaning staff to the physio team, they literally could not do enough especially when you are feeling pain and feeling low. They come in and greet you with big smiles and welcomes. Would highly recommend this hospital.

The hospital's day care theatre and clinic seem well organised. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and made a nervous situation, calm and acceptable. They explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going to happen.The place was clean and well cared for.

Having been badly let down by the NHS regarding treatment I was awaiting, I had to take the decision to pay and go private. I had no previous experience of this and didn't know what to expect. Dr Head-Rapson and all the staff at Fulwood Hall couldn't have been more caring, approachable and professional. Would 100% recommend.

My full knee replacement at Fulwood hospital was the best experience the minute I walked through the entrance. Receptionist brilliant. Mr Helm and his team was fantastic. The nurses couldn't do enough for me they was so caring, kind and professional. Food fantastic. The rooms spotless. Thank you so much everyone 💗 💓

Great hospital with really caring staff and the anaesthetist was amazing he put me at ease and the whole experience was great, I can't fault this hospital at all. I was worried about a problem that had occurred 6 days post op and they sorted me out.

I was very nervous about my procedure but the staff there was lovely and friendly they all put me at ease. While I was having my procedure a very kind staff nurse came in with me her name was Kirsty what a lovely person she was and so was my consultant too !

Back home now recovering from my hip replacement surgery I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Mr Tony Helm for his total professionalism care and wonderful operational skills add this to his brilliant personality and you have the perfect surgeon The rest of the theatre staff where all exceptional and I want to make special mention of the anaesthetist staff who helped me in many ways has I did not want sedation only the epidural injection and my preference for the cannula to be inserted into my arm nor into the back of the hand Nursing staff where all of the very highest standard also has where physiotherapists and other staff, all in all a wonderfully will run and well maintained and managed hospital that I would 100% recommend to all

Received excellent care during my hip operation.The preparation by ward nurse… followed the anaesthetist and colleague was exceptionally reassuring and eased my concerns.Mr Boden the consultant also helpfully explained procedure and having a morning visit and a chat as I was being prepared was excellent .As my first major op I felt their manner and support extremely helpful.Thank you to all staff.

Honestly from start to finish i am so happy with my experience . I had my consultations with my surgeon mr pursnani and he put me at ease straight away the operation went very well and the care I have received at full wood Hall hospital preston has been fantastic. From the morning of my surgery to leaving the hospital the nurses doctor's have been so nice and kind and made my stay in hospital so comfortable always checking im ok. Mr pursnani coming to check on me out of his own time too was lovely. After being so apprehensive about the procedure the nissen fundoplication I am extremely happy with how it has gone so thank you . Thanks Amanda jolly x
