I have a tremor and I worried about keeping still. I had light oral sedation and there was someone on standby to steady my head if necessary. I felt no pain and only saw flashing white lights. From the first appointment till my follow up one Mr Muniraju was very professional. All the staff at the hospital were very kind. I am repeating the procedure on my other eye shortly without any worries about the operation. Thanks to everyone involved.

The whole process, from my initial consultation to the procedure and my discharge was as good as I could have hoped it to be. All staff were helpful and communicative and prepped me well for the examination. Dr West was great at keeping me comfortable and informed throughout. The room I was given was spotless and gave me plenty of privacy, did not expect a private room. The staff were honest, informative and checked in promptly after my appointment. The kindness, politeness, and helpfulness of each and every one of the lovely people who work and care at this hospital is astounding. They are always smiling and ready to help. Yesterday I had umbilical hernia surgery here at Ashtead Hospital, and the care was spectacular not only from the very beginning of the day but also from the three months prior, from the very start, with all the follow-up, tests, and everything related to my surgery. The food they served in my room, which I chose from the menu that morning, was also very good. It's a place that exudes professionalism and cleanliness in every corner. I couldn't be happier to have fallen into such good hands and into such an excellent place for my surgery, which is less traumatic for someone like me who doesn't frequent hospitals and has never had surgery like this before. I received excellent care from all of the staff at Ahstead Hospital from the consultants, doctors and nurses. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay as a day patient.
