If you have to go into a hospital then this one is great. Very efficient and well run. All of the staff were professional and did their jobs with care and companion. The physio and nurses were lovely and reassuring. The surgeon, anesthetist, doctor, radiographer all explained clearly what was being done.

Had full shoulder replacement on 29th November I have nothing but praise for consultant anthetist theatre staff and Lisa physio the wonderful caring nurses night and day catering staff who made things so easy as I am registered severely blind this is my 4rh op here and it is amazing in every way well done to all concerned.

I cannot fault Berkshire Independent Hospital, from the time I was admitted to my discharge, I was treated kindly. There were so many staff, I can not remember all of their names, but in a highly stressful situation, I was put at ease as much as they were able to My room was comfortable and spacious with the bathroom spotless. The lady who asked if it was alright for her to come in and clean was cheerful and respectful. My meals were brought by a very nice housekeeping lady, who again was very pleasant. My only thought is that after a big procedure and anaesthetic, I could not eat large amounts of food and had to send some back. Perhaps a smaller option would be better. Across the board, from the consultant, anaesthetist, theatre staff, nurses and physios, to the porters and housekeeping staff they were all very friendly and kind and I have no hesitation in recommending The Berkshire Independent Hospital.
