Under the CMA’s Order, private hospital operators are required to publish, in relation to any part-times role held by any referring clinician who also has practising privileges at a hospital, a summary of the duties performed under that role and details of payments made in connection with that role.
Mr Subramanian Narayanan holds practicing privileges at Mount Stewart Hospital and is an approved appraiser for Ramsay. He is paid directly by Corporate £500 and the hospital has to invoice the consultant being appraised £650 – this includes the fee for the appraiser as well as the use of the online systems.
