Urgent Admissions

For a private patient to be admitted to the Oaks Hospital as an urgent admission, a named Consultant who has admitting rights with the hospital needs to accept the patient’s care. To arrange an urgent admission, please telephone the senior nurse on duty who will take the details of the patient and the Consultant you have already spoken to. 

You will need to confirm the details of the admission directly with the senior nurse. If transport is required for the patient, we can provide contact numbers for private ambulance services. Please do not send any patient for admission until confirmed by the senior nurse on duty as there are certain criteria which have to be met (insurance authorisations, etc.).
