I visited the oaks to have a cystoscope done by Mr Mohamed Tourky. I was very nervous when attending the hospital. But all the staff from reception to all the nurses who looked after me were great. Clare the nurse in the theatre was lovely she held my hand while having the procedure and was so reassuring. My consultant was very good at explaining everything that was happening.

After suffering with osteoarthritis in my knee for a number of years,I went to The Oaks to see Mr Massa and the whole experience was great. I had the surgery on my left knee, total knee replacement and I am back to normal I cannot thank Mr Massa enough.And the staff from the reception team to all the nursing staff were very kind and caring nothing was to much trouble,I will be having right knee done at the The Oaks in the future.

Have just undergone a knee replacement at the Oaks Hospital and couldn't have been more delighted with the overall experience. The hospital was spotless and the staff were very caring and attentive which extends to the catering and cleaning staff.

I was in for knee surgery only a day patient. I could not fault the hospital. The staff treated me with respect I was kept informed all of the time. After my operation I was cared for by some very compassionate staff. Thank you all very much.

Mr Barry Whitlow was great. Really calmed my health anxiety following ultrasound results. Made me feel calm and safe and explained everything in a great way that I could understand. He also made the whole process simple and easy to understand, without making me panic. Thanks so much again !

Excellent experience at the Oaks hospital today, I had an upper endoscopy done by Dr Simon Ralphs and I found him to be reassuring and professional, also the nurses leading up to the procedure were excellent and it really made me feel at ease. The reception team were also friendly.

Went in for a day stay procedure under NHS. Never thought for one minute I would have my own room. It was very clean and comfortable. The nursing staff were wonderful, especially Emma. I felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to my consultant Mr. Massa, what a lovely man. Can't fault the service.

I had a laparoscopy procedure on the 2nd of February for Endometriosis. I was treated respectfully and with dignity. They provided me with pain relief whenever I needed it and supported me with any small personal tasks. For example, supporting me heat up my shoulder pads for trapped gas. Grabbing ginger biscuits to soothe my stomach. The staff that looked after me through the night were brilliant, they kept me calm and feeling safe when I was in pain and feeling low emotionally. Thank you to everyone who supported me.

After suffering with fibroids since my early 20’s, I was advised at the age of 41 that the only logical treatment left to consider was a hysterectomy. Therefore, I decided to book a consultation with a consultant at the Oaks Hospital. I received a response to my request promptly, and was given the choice of 3 consultants with available appointments the following week. Having reviewed their profiles, I decided to proceed with Mr Hassan given his knowledge and experience with fibroids. I went for my first consultation, at which Mr Hassan asked about my medical history in relation to the fibroids and explained the process of the hysterectomy fully. Having not had an operation before, I instantly felt at ease and in safe hands given Mr Hassan’s experience and ability to perform the procedure in the best way for my needs. I was then booked in for surgery within a matter of weeks. From start to finish, the care I received was impeccable by Mr Hassan, his team including the anaesthetist Mr Ramali and the nursing team at the Oaks. Mr Hassan performed my hysterectomy in under an hour, removing my enlarged uterus which contained several fibroids, weighing approximately 7lbs. The surgery was performed via a bikini line incision which I had been advised by the NHS was not available to me. During my 2 night stay at the Oaks, the nursing team tended to my every need and made me feel so comfortable, including the hotel services team who provided a large range of food choices and at high quality. Mr Hassan came to see me every day to check on my recovery and provided clear guidance on next steps, especially following me being discharged. I have since had my 6 week check up and Mr Hassan explained about the histology report, discussed my recovery and continued to provide me with excellent care. After years of struggles, I feel so lucky that I have been given a new lease of life all thanks to Mr Hassan’s professionalism and skill. I would not hesitate in recommending both the Oaks Hospital, and Mr Hassan to anyone who is experiencing similar issues and looking for treatment.

After a visit to this hospital involving my wife i found that the moment we entered we were greeted by friendly reception staff who shown us the way to our destination towards DR. Aniket Deshpande.Mr Deshpande is a fantastic Dr who i found to be careing, compasonate, very professional. Then we went to the scan department, this to was such a breeze for my wife who felt so relaxed and at ease through her process. Such a clean hospital. Thank you Oaks for making my wife feel at ease through her ordeal.
