I can definitely recommend Blakelands hospital. I've recently had to have Gastroscopy at blakelands. The team was excellent in putting me at ease before & after my procedure. Achal carried the Endoscopy & I never felt any pain before or during it. The other members of the team that looked after me so well & deserve a mention are. Amma, Janie, Florence, Gemma, Letty & last but not least Paul who I believe administered my fentanyl senative & throat spray. Thanks for making the procedure easier than I expected.

Had an upper endoscopy, the staff were all very lovely and welcoming. The surgery itself went well, the doctor who did it was very friendly and explained the procedure as it happened.

I had a knee arthroscopy yesterday with Mr. Kordas & his team. I am very grateful for the great care & kindness of the anaesthetist AK (from MK😃) & nurse Jo. To name just a few. The only reason this is a 4 star rating & not 5 star is the abrupt manner of the nurse at the very end who could not get me out of a chair (not a bed!) quick enough with the words ‘we need this for other patients’. I am a private patient who had general anaesthetic & waited to be picked up which only took 15 minutes. My offer to wait at reception was declined. But thank you to all the other staff members who were lovely!

Exceptional service. The care I received was second to none. The staff were amazing. The reception staff friendly, the pre booking in and theatre staff were kind caring and put me at ease. The anesthetist and consultant extremely professional. The aftercare staff equally kind and considerate. All the staff are a credit to their organisation. This experience as restored my faith in the medical services. Thank you Blakelands staff for your excellent service.
