Great time felt like a king

What a wonderful bit of healthcare I’ve been given today (21/7/26). I’ve got quite a big meniscus repair that’s been treated for. From Reception, nurses to surgeons, the care has been phenomenal. I’ve downgraded to 4 stars (originally 5), because, all visits after the operation have been extremely poor. Both occasions, nurse did not know why I was there, and I had to prompt them to read their notes. Second visit, I came in JUST to get the dressing on my knee replaced, but as nurse didn’t read notes correctly, she decided to remove dressing, tug and prep to remove stitches, 1 week early. I’m now going into future appointments apprehensively

Excellent treatment from surgeon to reception, went in very apprehensive and frankly scared, came out wondering why I made such a fuss and with no qualms about having the cateract done on my other eye.

Staff are friendly and care was great, I went in for Endoscopy they explained everything what was going to happen, went well. Only downside for me was the waiting but only 20min over and I would have preferred am appointment not evening

I had the most amazing professional experience here. I went in for carpal tunnel syndrome from the minute I arrived to the minute I left the staff was so gracious my doctor Mr Srinivasan made me feel so comfortable and at ease The Service was flawless from start to end and thank you so much for taking care of me everybody you all are amazing. ❤️

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No words are enough for this wonderful team! Dawn, Linda and Florence are absolutely phenomenal – being with them felt just like being at home, and talking to them felt like I have known them all my life. This kindness and excellence is everywhere here: from reception, to my first visit, the doctor, and the theatre team – everyone is on another level. So professional, perfectly organised, polite and so caring. I simply have no words good enough to thank you all! God bless you all, please keep doing this amazing work 💛

I had a great experience at Blakelands Hospital. The care given was excellent. All staff were friendly, helpful and understanding. You are given a warm welcome by the receptionist and all through the time there. Everything during my procedure was explained fully. I could not ask for more, plus I had a wonderful Consultant.

I recently had an endoscopy and wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care I received. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was welcoming, friendly and efficient. Every member of staff involved in my care was professional, kind and attentive. They took the time to explain the procedure clearly, answered my questions and ensured I felt comfortable throughout the process. The level of care, compassion and teamwork demonstrated by everyone involved was outstanding. Absolutely lovely experience with Blakelands Hospital. My partner was admitted for carpal tunnel surgery and the care he received was excellent from start to finish. A special mention goes to Joan, the nurse who looked after him. She was incredibly kind, caring and reassuring throughout the whole process with non stop laughs.
