My partner who was already nervous arrived for morning appointment. He was left embarrassed when the receptionist who was lovely but extremely loud started asking personal, invasive questions infront of a full reception. Would be better If she was a bit more considerate of this in future

I went for bunion surgery today and was so nervous, when I got there my blood pressure was sky high. The staff were so amazing.., every single one of them. I’m so grateful to all the staff in Podiatry. Thank you so much from Jen 🙏🏼

What can I say I had carpal tunnel surgery done today and from the initial contact through to surgery today the contact and care has been second to none. Being NHS staff and a care giver to being a PT they treated me dignity and respect with and great humour throughout. Nothing was an issue any concerns or questions quickly answered with confidence putting you at ease. The aftercare in recovery has been brilliant. The cleaners, receptionist, nursing staff up to the surgeon’s are brilliant engaging with PT’s enhancing the complete pt experience. Thank you again for the amazing care and looking forward to having my next surgery done at this amazing place.

iv just got back from having a procedure done duggie was absolutely fabulous i suffer from anxiety and he so put me at ease the rest of the staff were very good to but duggie i think went that extra bit to make sure i was ok as i panicked great work blakelands hospital

Have been going to Blakelands for treatment since 2016, their care ( although very busy) is the best I have ever experienced, they take time to make you at ease, I would never go anywhere else given the choice, the surgeons are very reassuring and explain the procedure clearly .

I saw the Consultant in June 2023 regarding severe pain in my hip. He referred me for hip replacement surgery which took place two months ago. The result has been amazing and I now have my life back. The care I received from everyone involved from the Consultant to the Physiotherapists and nursing staff has been amazing and I am extremely grateful to everyone involved in my care, and in particular the Consultant who carried out the surgery which has allowed me to now live my life pain free. Thank you very much indeed.

Found everyone super friendly and informative about what is required,what needs to be done and when. The place is not vast but has a lot more relaxed atmosphere without all the drama and stress of a large hospital. Everything was carried out including the procedure required in a timely and orderly manner and really could not fault anything .

I had awake subacromial decompression keyhole surgery in May. The recovery was really quick and I didn't have much downtime as I didn't have the general anaesthetic. The sedation made me completely relaxed and the block made the procedure completely pain free. I watched as Mr Srinivan performed the surgery. The surgery nurse and team were great. High level of care
