The hospital was clean, well organized, and welcoming, and the standard of care I received exceeded my expectations. Cyril, Joan and the team were fantastic throughout and have made me feel a lot less anxious about my surgery. Surgery was done quickly and professionally. Felt completely at ease and would recommend this hospital.

Absolutely lovely experience with Blakelands Hospital. My partner was admitted for carpal tunnel surgery and the care he received was excellent from start to finish. A special mention goes to Joan, the nurse who looked after him. She was incredibly kind, caring and reassuring throughout the whole process with non stop laughs. Thank you to Joan and all the staff at Blakelands Hospital for the outstanding care and support.

Had a wonderful experience at Blakelands Hospital on 28 May 2026. I had arthroscopic meniscectomy procedure under general anaesthetic by the wonderful Surgeon Suresh Srinivasan. He was absolutely brilliant. Thank you. Also wanted to give a huge shout out to Dr Paramdeep Jandu, the anaesthetist who was absolutely brilliant and put my nerves at ease by explaining exactly what he was going to do, And explain that things had changed for the better since my last general anaesthetic over 24 years ago!! Also huge shout out to Jo, Florence and Ian. Jo had a wonderful sense of humour and was there when I came round …. just very kind, funny and caring so thank you X. Florence and Ian were lovely and extremely attentive and looked after me until the lovely Ian wheeled me into the car park where my husband was able to pick me up from the wheelchair. Finally, Thank you too to the lovely physiotherapist who came and showed me some exercises to do and also how to use the Crutches effectively after my operation. 5 stars all round. Thank you. I have received excellent treatment for a hernia repair from Blakelands Hospital. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly. All the doctors and nurses from initial consultation to the surgical procedure were professional, thorough and caring. I had a minor complication due to a pre-existing condition. This was dealt with excellently. Post surgery nursing care was extremely kind, caring & professional.
