Euxton Hall Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England.

The hospital opened in 1983 and is one of Lancashire's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or  NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.

Directions to Euxton Hall Hospital 

By Road

From M6 - Exit Junction 28, turn right and proceed to lights. Turn right along A49 towards Wigan. Continue straight on until reaching a mini-roundabout. Proceed straight ahead for 50 yards and turn right into Euxton Hall Gardens.

By train

The nearest mainline station is Euxton Balshaw Lane. This is approximately 5 minutes walk from the hospital.

The facility offers 32 beds all with en suite facilities to ensure complete privacy and by investing in advanced medical technology offers a wide range of treatments and services. On site there are two fully equipped ultra clean air theatres, an endoscopy and small treatment room.

The hospital specialises in orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip, knee replacement and upper limb surgery and offers rapid access to Breast Care services.

Visiting times

Friends and relatives are welcome to visit between the hours of 2pm-8pm for self-paying patients. The visiting times for other patients is 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm.

We do ask that you be considerate to others in the hospital. Lots of noise and many people can be very distressing to some patients. Please respect their need for rest and privacy. Children are very welcome but they must be supervised by an adult at all times.

This Quality Account is Euxton Hall's annual report to the public and other stakeholders about the quality of the services we provide. It presents our achievements in terms of clinical excellence, effectiveness, safety and patient experience and demonstrates that our managers, clinicians and staff are all committed to providing continuous, evidence based, quality care to those people we treat. It will also show that we regularly scrutinise every service we provide with a view to improving it and ensuring that our patient’s treatment outcomes are the best they can be. It will give a balanced view of what we are good at and what we need to improve on.
