I recently had cataract surgery carried out by Mr Peter Simcock. The anesthestist was Dr Chris Day and the nursing team were Rosalyn, Jan and Rena. The care provided was faultless by each member of the team. All parts of the procedure were clearly explained, and there were repeated checks to ensure the correct eye was identified. There was a lovely calm atmosphere and all the staff were kind and courteous. Gold standard service. Thank you.

Trigger finger treatment. Properly investigated and while I’m not keen on anything invasive, they were extremely attentive, well staffed. Operation was carried out on the date and time agreed by the doctor who initially met with me. Multiple checks to make sure correct procedure undertaken. Can’t fault their professionalism. “Thank you” I now await the bandages to come off.

Im really impressed. The service was so refreshing, supportive, professional - Dr Barker - what a scholar - was excellent during consultation and surgery and from start to finish the communications were exceptional from the staff. Vasectomy surgery is a sensitive issue for a man, and yet, this team made it so easy to entrust with. I want to say thank you to the team and the surgical staff that just did what it says on the tin. Truly exceptional - i wish all hospitals and practices were this good.

My mum had an appointment yesterday and we cannot speak highly enough of the team. There was a mix up with the appointment time (our fault) and Julie on reception was fantastic in coordinating a slightly later time. Ms Challinor and her team were incredibly kind during the procedure and my mum felt at ease with them. Thank you so much - and also thank you for the coffee and hot chocolate, it was greatly appreciated.

I first came into contact with Exeter Medical via a consultation with Mr M Hutton regarding my Spinal Stenosis which had been causing problems for over two years. This rather lengthy period had been accentuated by a dreadful involvement with the Nuffield but that's another tale. Mike Hutton was everything you would hope to get from a consultant. Detailed but clear. Friendly and professional. 45 mins that gave us more info and help than we had been able to get in the previous 2 years. He advised injections into the spine and we went into their system and waited for an appointment expecting that to be well down the line. We got a cancellation in less than one week and that's when we met Helen Challinor and her team for the first time and what a wonderful experience it was. Everyone we met that day was superb - very warm and friendly - and the operation carried out by Helen went so smoothly. Results to date are better than expected. I would recommend Exeter Medical to everyone.
