  • The service I received by the receptionist Debbie was exceptional. Hospital visits are often stressful but she showed a rare combination of efficiency, warmth and empathy. She was calm welcoming and focused on helping me. Their professionalism, attention to detail and comforting presence made a huge difference to my experience at the Exeter Medical Hospital. Debbie is a tremendous asset and an outstanding representative of your healthcare values.

  • Mr Mills and Rena Hawkins were friendly and professional. I felt relaxed and they chatted to me throughout the operation, which was smoothly and quickly done. They also let me know what was happening as they did it which was fantastic. The hot chocolate was also great!

  • I had a large sebaceous cyst on my scalp (which I nicknamed “my unicorn horn!) and two skin tags on my lower eyelids removed by Mr Andrew Wilson at Exeter Medical. He explained everything that he was doing throughout the procedure and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. He was very gentle and thorough and the nurses assisting, Mandy and Rena, were so lovely and friendly and looked after me very well. The procedure itself was remarkably stress free and I experienced very little discomfort apart from the initial sting of the local anaesthetic, which surprised me as I was expecting it to be painful in such a delicate area. As well as 3 internal stitches in my scalp I had 4 external stitches and these were removed at my GP surgery today. The scars on my eyelids are almost invisible now (and I had hardly any swelling or bruising after the skin tags were cut away). The scar on my head is very neat and again is barely visible through my hair. I am delighted that I chose Exeter Medical: the whole process, from consultation through to booking the appointment and being discharged, was easy and smooth and the results were exactly what I had hoped for. It is a great shame that these procedures are no longer available in the NHS but for me they were well worth paying for, especially as I chose the interest-free loan to pay by instalments which made it manageable. Thank you so much once again to all the team!
