I have just been seen in the Radiology department who were absolutely wonderful!. All staff were so efficient, kind and polite. Bridie and Kate's experience and professionalism was so very reassuring.

Found the hospital easily. As a first visit I found some of the signage in the car parks to be in quite small print with quite a lot of information to read. There were several parking spaces available. Found my way to the correct building but was in the wrong part of the building. Receptionist checked me in efficiently but without any additional pleasantries (I was the only person there).

Everyone at New Hall hospital from reception team to Nurses, Consultants, catering, night teams - everyone - has been phenomenal on my recent stay. I was in for a spinal procedure and remained there for 6 days in total due to a small complication that needed to be sorted. Communication with me was excellent in terms of risks, admissions, post op information, complication management and discharge. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the care of the highest quality and the people are the best. Even had a toy box for when my wife and son came to visit. My consultant was excellent in how he communicated with me and with the surgery. It was my second procedure there and both times I have been excellently looked after. The food, even on the NHS allowance, is of very good quality, well presented and delicious. If you are referred here as an NHS patient - you've done well. If you're a private patient - great choice.

This is not the first time I have attended this hospital and have always found it very clean and well looked after. The staff are excellent always helpful and kind and explain everything to you. Would recommend this hospital.

I would like to thank everyone especially Mr. Davies and his team, also nursing staff especially Evie and Pat . Mr. Davies is fantastic if it was not for him I would be in a wheelchair now. He is very down to earth and genuinely cares

I have just had some abdominal surgery at New Hall Hospital. From being greeted at reception on arrival to my discharge, all the staff involved were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My room was immaculately clean and tidy and whenever I needed to ring for help, the nurses were quick in coming. The meals were very well prepared and nutritious.

Always a bit daunting having to have surgery, but I can't imagine a more relaxing environment and all the staff from the ancillary staff to the consultants were charming, reassuring, respectful and highly professional. Not sure whether the speed bump on the exit to the car park is a good idea, especially if you've just had spinal surgery.
