The entire staffing team at North Downs are truly wonderful. You are greeted with smiles. They all go above and beyond for you. Staying over night and witnessing staff changes, all staff introduced themselves, were kind, friendly and helpful. I cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and compassion.

The day staff nurses were great. The night staff were not as friendly or caring. The support staff , cleaners and Steve were really lovely. The communication for discharge was not good and I had to wait in reception to be collected after major surgery and I was very emotional and felt this was very insensitive and not professional.

I had ACL surgery on 30/10/25. All of the staff were excellent, from the nurses through to the surgeon. The operation was stress free with minimal waiting times, and it was successfully performed by Mr Anand and his team. After the operation, I was attentively cared to by the nurse and physio, who answered all of my questions and constantly helped me. The food was also great. The whole experience honestly couldn’t have been any better, so thank you to all of the staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

Mr. Abulafi saw me on time and allowed all the time necessary to explain the procedure for repairing my hernia. North Downs is my choice of hospital whenever possible, not only because it is local to where I live but also I have always had good treatment and outcomes there.

I was fortunate enough to have this hospital provided as an NHS patient for my full knee replacement, the care provided was outstanding in all respects, the single occupancy room was nice and had all I needed in it, food was also good, even a sandwich arrives well filled and with a little garnish rather than in a tear open cardboard box. It’s more like a cottage hospital which has a very personal feel to it. Highly recommended.

Went for my check up which I do every 3 years. Such a lovely team here, especially Juliana the nurse who has an extremely good "bedside manner". Didn't have to wait around too long and was in & out within a couple of hours. More than happy to come back!
