Carly's Surgical Experience

Carly Hill from Surrey had a surgery to replace PIP implants with Mr Nishikawa using a local anesthetic and sedation; the results were well worth travelling from Surrey for.

I have recently had my 3 month post op check up with Mr Nishikawa at The Westbourne Centre, after finding out I had PIP Implants. I have to say the care, attention to detail and courtesy I received was second to none, from my initial consultation right the way through to my final check up.

I discovered I had PIP implants a few months prior to my booking in the operation. The Westbourne Centre came highly recommended and was well worth the travelling from Surrey to visit the centre.

After my consultation, I left Mr Nishikawa feeling at ease as felt he really took my concerns and upset to heart and fully understood the position I was in. Extremely talented individual.

I had a minor hick up after the operation in that the nurse a my local doctors, removing the dressing 7 days after the operation, thought one side hadn't healed properly. I spoke with the centre, sent them pictures to show the wound and they assured me all was well but was more than welcome to visit should I require further confirmation, this put me at ease. I am absolutely amazed at the results from the scars to the actual fit of the implants.

Sedation is wonderful, felt no pain, easier for the staff to monitor you, much quicker recovery and no sickness after - I went walking aroud the local market only an hour after the operation!

The after care was amazing and even received a phone call from one of the on call night nurses to check how I was recovering. All members of staff there, from the receptionists, to the nurses, surgeons and anesthetists are outstanding and I really can't thank them enough for what they have all done for me. All wonderful and genuinely make you feel at ease, from the minute you walk in.

A huge thanks needs to go the staff and centre and I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
