I had a knee replacement which is working great, Woodthorpe team were brilliant from start to finish . Big shout out to the nurses and the catering staff nothing was a problem for them.

Could not have been better. Lovely hospital. Staff are very polite, understanding, and friendly. As said, being first-time having eye operation. I was very nervous. But everything went to perfection. No problem at all. in a few weeks I am having my right eye done. Of as told I would not need any glasses at all. Fantastic place and excellent Staff.

I was admitted for a total hip replacement and tenotomy. The whole experience from checking in at reception to being discharged in the afternoon of the next day was efficient and professional. Jen, the nurse, welcomed me to my room and put me at ease by explaining everything I needed to do before surgery. Mr Badhe visited my room for a brief chat about my procedure which also helped to put me at ease. Within a couple of hours I had been taken for my surgery and it seemed very soon that I was back in my room and being helped towards recovery. A positive and confidence-inspiring experience all round. Thanks also to Denice, Jane, Michelle, Javi, Bev and Dan and all other people involved in my care whose names I didn't catch. It's an amazing example of what good people working together can achieve. A huge "Thank you" to all.

Be prepared for not being able to park on site as there is very limited space available. The hospital is mixed NHS/Private. As the visit I’m reviewing here was only à short first consultation , a detailed review would not be representative of the hospital service as a whole I have confidence in the consultant that I saw

I had a 2 night inpatient stay recently after having fairly major surgery at the Woodthorpe. The individual and quality care I received from my surgeon, anaesthetist and nursing staff made my experience such a positive one. The room was well equipped and the food good. every need was catered for. Special thanks for arranging to let me stay until late in my room on day of discharge. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone for a positive experience.

Excellent treatment at this hospital. Staff were always kind ,reassuring and helpful at all time's throughout my surgery and recovery. This can be a very stressful time and to know you have this support is important. I just wish everyone that needs medical intervention could have the same positive experience . My experience was one of genuine care. From the initial consultation to the procedure I didn’t feel like I was rushed for time to ask questions, I felt comfortable and all of the staff including the doctor were very positive and created a calm, pleasant atmosphere.
