Had a recent, thus far, successful spinal operation which was by far the best hospital experience of my life. All aspects were exemplary, communication, standards of rooms, every member of staff were all professional, truly caring. I chose Woodthorpe and it has proven to be a great decision. I have many years experience of working in healthcare. A large proportion of which I worked for the NHS. As soon as my own care and treatment was transferred to Woodthorpe Hospital I realised I was experiencing a truly professional, caring facility. Communication was and still is great throughout and as an inpatient I was treated absolutely brilliantly. My after care appears to be just as good. I am so happy. Long may it continue. Thank you to Woodthorpe and all your staff.

The staff at the hospital are all amazing, they are friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hospital is really clean and ready for your stay. Everything was explained so as I knew exactly what was happening. I would definitely use the hospital again if I needed another operation. The after care is also brilliant and staff keep in touch with your progress. Great experience.

Attended for a minor operation on my arm under general anaesthetic. I had attended prior for several pre op consultations. On every visit staff were always friendly and the hospital immaculately clean. Relevant paperwork sent via post in timely manner and kept informed with a follow up phone call post op. Cannot fault their care.

I am writing this review to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible care my wife ,Yulia Guerriero, received during her stay for a bunion operation on 25 of March 2026. From the moment she was admitted, the staff were very professional and efficient. A special thank you to Dr. Vail Karuppiah, Nurse Francesca and anesthetist. Big thank you to all the team in the operation theatre. You treated her as a priority, not just a number. Thank you for your dedication.

I had my ghallbladder removed today at woodthorpe and I have to say this hospital is beyond top tier. The professionalism of the staff from the catering lady I saw first to the surgeons and most of all the Nurse that looked after me an absolute gentleman called Raymond. Raymond you put me at ease calmed me down and also went above and beyond to make me feel cared for and I cannot thank you enough. You are a true professional and I don’t think staff get mentioned and given the credit they deserve enough! This guy is an absolute diamond he’s also funny too! Made me smile!
