I have just had a one night stay at the Woodthorpe having a knee replacement. Everything from the appointments to the assessment and finally the operation they couldn't do enough for you . I would highly recommend them. Brilliant staff.

The hospital is very clean, the staff are all very friendly, courteous and professional and the waiting areas are comfortable. Free coffee is also provided if you wish from the coffee machine which is great.

I can’t praise Woodthorpe Hospital enough — the team were absolutely brilliant! Every single detail was thought of, even down to providing a fan without me having to ask. As a private patient, I was even supplied with toiletries, which was such a thoughtful touch. From the catering team who brought the tea and lunches, to the nurses, healthcare assistants, reception staff, and the surgical team — everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. My surgeon, Mr McCully, was absolutely fantastic — his communication was excellent, and I was given the chance to ask questions all the way through, which really put me at ease. Thank you all for going above and beyond!

I want to say a great big thank you to everyone at Woodthorpe Hospital for the outstanding care I received during my recent full knee replacement. Every single member of staff was kind, friendly and compassionate. I want to say a special thank you to my consultant, Mr. Sachin Badhe, for performing the surgery. Thank you to the incredible Theatre team, Ward Staff, Booking Team, Receptionists, House Keeping and Catering team for helping me and taking such good care of me throughout my stay. Thank you also to the amazing Physiotherapy team for supporting me through my recovery with patience and encouragement. I’m now well on the road to recovery and incredibly thankful to you all.
