I had a knee Arthroscopy on the 21st March 26 at woodthorpe hospital, All the sfaff from the receptionist through to the nurses , doctors were all nice, kind and polite . i injured my knee 3 years ago and been in constant pain and struggling to walk and for the first time in 3 years ive been able to fully straighten my knee which is a big improvement, its going to take time to get full strength back in my knee and back to fitness. I want to thank woodthorpe hospital for looking after me . I would definitely recommend.

I have been travelling from Sheffield to Woodthorpe hospital for my treatment and my operation which I had last week. My care was excellent both at outpatient and as an inpatient last week. All the staff made me feel safe and I was reassured by their professionalism at all times. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. A special thank you to Mr Finney the surgeon who did my operation and to all the nursing who looked after me before and after the operation.

Following a hip replacement on Saturday 21st March, I am pleased to be pain free and walking unaided. The care I received from the team was exemplary. A few recalled names were the surgery team under Mr N.Bhadhi, who put me at ease prior to the op, and not forgetting Anaesthetist, Chefs and Nurses/ Nursing Assistants Lucy, Sam, Nerissa and Ray who kept me in good spirits.

I had an ACL reconstruction here on the NHS at Woodthorpe hospital and found the whole service from start to finish as a patience excellent. From thorough checks before the operation, detailed explanations of how the day will run, outstanding after care from the physio, nurses and even the surgeon too. I was very nervous and stressed about the whole process but the staff at Woodthorpe hospital put me at ease. After having to stay in overnight last minute due to complications, nothing was too much to ask. Would definitely recommend. Just to add, I have also been a private patient here at Woodthorpe hospital in 2024 and I can honestly say, whether your a private patient or NHS patient, the service and after care was none the less!

I recently had a full right hip replacement (23rd Jan 2026) at Woodthorpe Hospital, and I cannot praise the staff enough. The level of care I received was absolutely phenomenal, allowing me to be safely discharged after just one night on Ward 1! A massive thank you to my surgeon, Mr. S. BADHE, for a fantastic job, as well as Dr. Mohammed and my anaesthetist, Mr. Khandelwal, for putting me completely at ease during the operation. The nursing and support staff on Ward 1 were incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. Special mentions and huge thanks to Sam (NCA), Kayleigh, Gia, Ray, Ben, Sade, Tatenda, Sammy, and Lashae—you all made my recovery so comfortable and reassuring. Finally, a hospital stay is always made better by great food! Compliments to Glenda the Chef for the delicious meals, and thank you to Bev the waitress for her cheerful and wonderful service. If you are nervous about an upcoming procedure here, don't be. You are in the absolute best hands. Highly recommend!

I had total knee replacement surgery in October carried out by Mr N Badhe, very positive experience. The facilities are first class, excellent service. A special thanks to Mr Badhe for care after the surgery and I would like to special mention nurse Ben, very helpful, overall 10/10.

Had a knee operation and from the get go all scans were offered with plenty of notice and I could pick and choose the days/times to work around my job. Everything was explained clearly and with a smile. Big shout out and respect to Catherine (physio) and nurse francesca whom on the day of operation gave me excellent advise and guidance.
