Having surgery before Christmas is never the best time, but the staff at Woodthorpe hospital are amazing. The whole team from reception, cooks, physios, doctors and especially the nurses, made my 3-day stay a positive experience. A special thanks to Kelly H and Ray for their care and support

Faultless procedure of Total Hip Replacement from start to leaving hospital. Everything was professional and carefully handled. Special thanks to Raymond Sikod who listening and acted on my concerns regarding pain relief. The bathroom was a bit of a let down but I understand it is due to be refurbished imminently.

Had cataract surgery in one eye on 22nd September. Exemplary service from Miss Gruener and all her staff. I would highly recommend this Hospital Had 2nd cataract operation on 17th November and can only add I received similar excellent service from Miss Gruener and all Woodthorpe Hospital staff I had contact with

Total knee replacement From the very first meeting with Mr Nitin Badhe to my discharge yesterday (11 Dec '25) the word excellent seems inadequate. Pre op with Carla. The operation itself with a fantastic team of anaesthetists, Mr Badhe's dedicated team and the caring staff in the recovery room. Then onto the ward with the absolutely amazing Nurse Gen and the day shift team. Nurse Kelly and the night shift staff. Special mention to the catering department and the excellent food and wonderful service 👍 Not forgetting anyone else involved in my treatment at Woodthorpe. Thank you all so much ❤️ xx
