Woodthorpe Hospital, Nottingham

I had a total hip replacement at Woodthorpe Hospital, the whole process from start to finish was excellent. So glad I chose this hospital for my procedure. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff who looked after me.

Excellent consultant, friendly and welcoming staff. My operation daycase was reassuring from initial consultation throughout whole procedure. 

I had total knee replacement surgery at the Woodthorpe on 21/09/25 carried out by Mr Nitin Badhe, returning home the following day. From the outset, it was a very positive experience with each step fully explained. The facilities are first class, the organisation impressive and the staff were excellent. I'd like to give a mention to Ben Green. His pleasant character and willingness to go the extra mile in every aspect of his duties greatly added to my overall experience. 

My whole experience at Woodthorpe Hospital was very good. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The receptionist was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction. The medical staff were efficient and professional. 

I just wanted to give some feedback on a receptionist I spoke to called Lynne last night. After having missed an appointment thinking it was today & it was yesterday. Lynne made me feel so at ease with the empathy she showed during that phone call. She informed me she would speak to the consultants secretary in the morning & get back to me first thing. She did exactly that and sorted another appointment. 100% excellent customer service a credit to your hospital 👍

I had replacement knee surgery in August 2023. Carried out by Mr John Rowels , consultant orthopaedic surgeon Absolutely wonderful staff team, care and efficency brilliant. I could not be happier with the results.

I was recently admitted to this hospital as a NHS day patient to have a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy [gaul Bladder removal] All the staff were remarkable, I was even able to take my dog a small 2 mile walk the next day, truly exceptional.

Had gynae procedure here 19.06.23 as a day case and from stepping into the hospital was greeted and shown to my room which was clean and modern. Was slightly nervous but the staff quickly put me at ease and having my own room to wait in made the experience even better. Procedure went well and staff were attentive through recovery. Wednesday 7th June had my hernia operation. From walking into the hospital, I was looked after by professional friendly helpful staff. Operation went well & then looked after in recovery. Sandwiches & coffee “ the coffee I would love to know what brand it is, would use at home” Can’t thank all at Woodthorpe hospital for all their care.
